Do e-cigs raise hematocrit?

Hey ECF, i've been vaping for about a year now and I've been getting period blood work. My last two blood tests showed that my hematocrit was at 53%, which is very high. My doctor wants me to donate blood ASAP. Heres the thing, two years ago my hematocrit was normal, around 44. It has been climbing over the past year. To make it more complicated, my doctor started me on HGH 1 year ago, around the same time I started vaping. So I don't know if the increase in hematocrit is due to vaping or the HGH. Any feedback on whether or not e-cigs raise hematocrit is MUCH appreciated, thanks!

Vaping has not raised my hematocrit.

I'm not a doctor, but I would think that the HGH you're taking could lead to a higher hematocrit than normal, just because of the nature of the drug. Drink a lot of water, and donate blood Does your doctor think it's the HGH that's the culprit?

Thanks for the replies. My doctor says it doesn't but most studies i've come across say it does. I donated blood last week and dropped the hgh so I hope it'll sort out. I just hope my precious vaping isn't the culprit.

Thanks Jamie for your personal exerience, that's the kind of .... I like to hear. Anyone else gotten their hematocrit/hemoglobin checked while vaping?
