Hey guys. Should I take this switch apart when cleaning? It seems a tad janky. Just wanted to take it apart, clean it all and put it back together. I've put the allen key in the switch and then held the connection with tweezers and then scratched it . It's super super tight.

While it should come apart - after all, somebody put it together - I'd just buff it out with a pencil eraser. Works well for cleaning contacts, and doesn't scratch it up.

The connection inside is a hex. Hold it with the proper size socket. I don't know the size, but no doubt it's metric. If you don't have a metric socket set, take it to a hardware store. They should be able to help you find the right size socket.
