Hi, I recently bought an Aqwa Square iTaste V3 (same as the innokin iTaste V3) and wanted a larger capacity clearomizer so bought a Kanger T2 Version 3 with the extra long wick.

The iTaste has both 510 and ego threads, however the shop where I bought the T2 says that you need an 510 to ego adapter to use the T2 on the iTaste. The T2 seems to work fine with the iTaste without the adapter however I am worried now that I might cause damage by using it without one. As I say it seems to work fine, the only thing I have noticed is the air flow is much reduced compared to the aClear DC that the iTaste came with, ie you have to suck harder!

Can anyone advise if its ok to use it without an adapter?

Thanks

Your airflow is going to be terrible with ego threaded items on most mods. The skirt that houses the threading ends up buried in your mod. The use of an adapter would allow your clearo to sit up higher so that the airflow will be better.

Certainly not necessary, but might give you a better experience.

The T2 makes pretty good contact to be honest, but there are only two small air holes in the base of the T2 which just overlap the thread on the battery so the thread obstructs the holes. To be fair I quite like the reduced airflow and now the OEM clearomizer feels really airy in comparison. But will the reduced air flow have any effect on the atomizer? I thought I read somewhere that an atomizer needs a minimum airflow to work properly.
