Do I need to let my carts steep

Should I let my dual coils steep overnight or something, once I fill them with juice? I'm not getting the best flavor when I first fill a cart. It's not the nasty flavor I hear people griping about in videos - but it's not pretty either.

I'm using DIY tobacco/maple flavor that I usually love.

Any suggestion?

30 minutes should be sufficient but overnight doesn't hurt them. If you can afford the luxury (vaping style) of an overnight steep = better

If they are tasting funny I think you are not filling them correctly. Take cap off and condom fill from the bottom. Fill slowly and you can see the liquid fill the cart very slowly should not need to wait more than ten minutes.
