Do Low Restistance atomizers burn e-liquid?

I just got my LR 510 atomizers and tried using them with my eGo, after cleaning and burning away the primer liquid.

I noticed that, yes, they produce lots and lots of vapor, but the flavor has more of a burnt taste, even if I drip it. The atty seems to function much hotter than a temperature, and the taste is much harsher with a burnt flavor. Is this normal? If so, I don't understand why the LR atomizers are getting such rave reviews.

This has been my experience so far too. I'm anxious to try some different flavors and pg/vg mixtures to see if it makes a difference but so far, I'm not a fan of LR.

What liquid are you using? I think it really depends on the liquid.
Some liquids taste better to me with and LR - like rath waffle and freedomsmokesusa ry4 for example.

Some liquids taste better to me without and LR like dekang, tatsy vapor and sweeter flavors

Try to take shorter drags and see if that helps.

I notice that the flavor is deeper with an LR atty and if you hold onto the battery button for too long, it has a tendency to make certain flavors taste burnt.

If what is said is true and that it simulates a regular atty @5V. then I would agree that the vapor doesn`t taste as good, and can actually be foul. OTOH the only way I like cartos is @5v, so maybe a LR carto would be good.
