we all know batteries and atomizers need replacing after a short time, but what about mains chargers i cant help but think its effecting my new batteries performance.
TROG>>>>!

I know why this happened, first for a main charger, it does not need to be replaced for it self. the problem is you could not mix this charger with other products, or it will damage the other battery. of all manufacturers, only one manufacturer set the techneques into the charger, which I do not like at all. Sorry I could not tell you the name. I have thought for quite a while whether I should tell you this or not, but in order not to let the charger damage your new product, I decide to do it. and I am glad that you could raise this question, because most of the people will think it is because of the low quality of the battery. hope all I said could help, forgive my poor english:oops:

Sorry to go off topic but I just wanted to ask David if he would post contact and product details for us on the suppliers board. It would be good for new members to be able to get in touch easily and there aren't enough good suppliers around, especially in Asia.

Kit, for what it's worth, I've had a charger die on me but it didn't seem to ruin batteries, it just didn't charge them.

how long is a piece of string again..

we have a cheaply made none industrial type consumer product.. they get a lot of use and might need replacing every so often because of this..

they dont wear out as such.. solid state electronic products tend to simply stop working.. their most likely failure time is when they are first used.. DOA..

basically if they work for a couple of day they are likely to keep doing so..

your problem is far more likely to be with batteries and hardware kit than your chargers.. chuck them more often..

ps.. some chinese chargers dont like the UK 240 volts.. they are mostly sold to the US 110 volt market.. i have several rated at 240/110 that have died on the mains input side very quickly.. they continue work on 12 volt power but not the mains..

ps 2.. the later 901 batteries we have now are not as good as the first lot we had.. the average run time has dropped from 3 to 4 hours down to just over two.. that two soon turns into one.. they need chucking on a regular basis and new ones using.. the 901 batteries now being a bigger problem than the atomizers..

i wholeheartedly agree Trog...the new 901 batteries arent a patch on the old ones...i miss the old ones...

also,in my experience lately,i find the black 901b batteries are better than the new white 901s...and the white 901s atomiser is better than the black 901bs...

maybe its just down to the stuff ive got lately...but i use black batteries and white atomisers for my 901 now...i think its a better combo...

dropping by half in week is about right.. the initial run time isnt what this is about.. what its about is the wear out rate.. i am also inclined to think the initial better lot were the best possible.. super good.. what we have now is the "normal" and what we are likely to have in the future..

the screwdriver auction ends tonight kit.. but if all u think they are worth is 38 quid u wont want one.. he he he

the end time dosnt really favour UK buyers.. i think in couple of days time it will be on an airplane making the trip to the US..

it getting there.. it should work out cheaper in the end.. i said long ago i would be happy to pay a hundred quid up front for a decent battery.. i would.. so i am assuming others would..

having to continually replace 901 batteries is bloody expensive.. the screwdriver should put an end to the battery problems..

similar things will start to appear soon..
