Do you believe the government will ever be able to TAX '0' nicotine e-juice?

Maybe not in Netherlands but here in the US they sure could. As long as you have other people who are set up to make decisions for you and can create laws, those people can do anything. There's no freedom with government.

It's probably not likely they would tax no nic ejuice but they certainly could... in the name of children, the great holy spirit, safety for your pets... or just because they want to.

I think you and I are on the same wavelength. I'm about ready for revolution and anarchy. It's gotta be better than the mess of busybody pettyfascists we've got now.

The gov't does whatever pays it the most money. It is their ONLY consideration, nevermind all their lofty rhetoric about the Public Weal or even Think of the Children.

Well of course they could, but based on what? Because the product is sold as a vaping product? You could simply sell flavored PG/VG as a non-vaping product. And if they would tax it based on ingredients then the food industry would have a big problem. So yes, technically it's possible but in reality it's near impossible.

Oh, I agree with you. (though I never underestimate my government from doing incredibly stupid things. I've talked to plenty of my state reps and besides being uninformed they can be just plain dumb - and self-serving.)

btw, I love your blog post on mixing diy-juice by weight! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/yo-han/5060-my-way-mixing-scale.html

My scale is on the way...

Do some people honestly believe the government will slap a tobacco-level tax on both vegetable glycerin & distilled water??

Not at all ... And they won't be taxing any ready-made juice that does not contain nicotine either.

But you just wait ... I promise you that before it's all said and done, the government will get there nasty little tax collecting fingers on e-juice containing any amount of nicotine. And they will tax it very heavily.
