Okay.

So, recently I notice that I'm doing something really weird. I'm trying different foods, desserts, fruits & drinks to see if I would enjoy them as a vape!

For instance, the other day at work(at the nursing home) I asked a co-worker to grab me a slice of banana cream pie off of an extra food tray. She kinda laughed as she handed it to me and said "But I thought you hated banana cream pie?" I told her that I did-but that I wanted to try it again to see if I could enjoy it as a vape. She sat there giggling as I tasted each bite until the plate was clean. "Well?", she asked, "what's your verdict?" I thought for a moment and concluded "Though I don't hate banana cream pie anymore-this one piece is enough for the rest of the year. As far as being a vape I'd like? Maybe I'd like vaping it once per month."

so tell me...do YOU find yourself doing this?

And if so, what flavors have you tried lately?

No, fortunately my eating habits haven't changed a bit (some people eat and eat after they quit smoking, I know that's not where you're going with this...).

I went through a period of getting all kinds of juices, mostly dessert types and tried the flavors that way. Not to plug anybody but surprisingly Lucky 7 Vapes' flavors were closer to me than most, and they're dirt cheap to boot!

I've found that you can't count on the juice flavors being just like the real thing. So I have liked vaping flavors that maybe I am not too crazy about if I were consuming them as food. It has been a case of trial and error with me. I have ended up liking some that I was really feeling so - so about until I tried them.

all the time lol.... an example i use alot is chocolate. not really a fan of chocolate. never have been. I made a chocolate vape on a whim and it was awesome. now i make chocolate vapes alot. another one. menthol. I absolutely hate menthol cigs. ive been experimenting now with koolada and mint candy from tfa. really good to me now also. not sure if its the taste buds coming back from 20 yrs of smoking over the last 6 months or if im just becoming more open to new things. when i cook i do all kinds of things. lots of different ingredients and flavors but when it came to vaping i had a one track mind. but i do try new things and say wow i bet that would be an awesome vape lol,

Whilst I don't find I am trying out new foods in the hunt for the next Vape, I am vaping things I'd never had imagined I would.

Example :

Menthol. Hated menthol cigarettes, vape it most days.

Chocolate. Not normally a fan, but did a batch of Chocolate Fudge Brownie on a DIY experiment. Awesome. Last batch added some mint, even more awesome, my go to vape now.

High Energy Drinks. (Think Red Bull) Can't stomach the stuff normally, but goes really nice when I'm on the Vodka and Lemonade! The two compliment each other nicely.

I've recently been vaping DIY with no flavor. It's a 50/50 PG VG blend. I find vaping this for a day or two almost refreshes the pallet and when I load up some menthol or chocolate I can taste it so much more.

What I love most about vaping is the sheer choice though. It's great

:D

I ended up doing the exact opposite. I like caramel, but it's never been included in my daily food consumption. Ever since vaping, I started eating a caramel pecan ice cream that tastes exactly like one of the ry4s I like, minus the nic. I never would have thought of it before since I've always been a chocolate ice cream girl before. This is unfortunate though. Now I've been trying out all types of new ice creams and have gained a few pounds in this new pursuit.

As I was a menthol smoker, I figured I would stick to menthol flavors with vaping but not the case. Most of the menthol flavors I've tried I didn't care for much. Fruits and desserts have certainly caught my attention. I do find myself thinking of what all I enjoy eating and then adding it to a list of e-juices I wanna find/try.

When I first started I found myself craving foods similar to what I was vaping. One of my first eliquids was Mt. Baker's Cinnamon Roll and I found myself buying cinnamon rolls at the grocery when it was something I normally wouldn't do.

I haven't really found myself trying new foods to see if they would vape well because there are very few foods I don't enjoy much to the dismay of my waistline. Those foods I do dislike wouldn't translate well into vapes anyway (squash, zucchini, organ meats). I've been known to order a durian shake every now and then as well.

Heck yeah - I find that with most any food (sweet, not savoury) that I encounter these days, I'm considering it as a vape. I'll go to a restaurant with my wife, she'll read out the dessert menu (she does this to lessen her guilt by enticing me to participate), and I'll consider each as a vape.

It's how I got to trying pear marzipan torte, one of my goto juices at the moment.

You sound like me. I could have written this post, except for the MBV part. Otherwise, yep exactly.

I find that organic fruit ejuice is the only thing that really has the TRUE flavor -- otherwise it's like the "jolly rancher" version of a flavor. Does Moo Juice from MBV taste like strawberries and cream? No, it's an artificial interpretation of it. I will however say Captivape's White Grape flavor is the only artificial flavored fruit vape that does remind me of white grape juice :)

I don't think a Szechwan spicy lamb with garlic and cumin would translate into a good vape. However, a vape based on a strawberry rhubarb pie sounds quite nice.

I'm actually eating more sweets as I have started vaping them! I already have a sweet tooth I work to keep in check, but I swear, I think I've gained about 5lbs since vaping (total opposite from when I started smoking). I vape lemon cake...I make a lemon pound cake. Vape applewood....make an apple pie. My skinny jeans are now skin tight, I've got a problem!
