I need help! I think I am getting addicted to buying carts and juice. I am so new to this and I bought prefilled carts for my first go around and then someone told me in my original post..."save those carts, you will want to refill them." I thought yeah right. Who has time for that?

I guess I do...I just ordered some sample juices from FreedomsmokeUSA. About 4 samples. I am a bit concerned because their samples are 24 mg nic and I only smoke 11 mg nig. I was always a menthol light smoker. What should I expect? (of course I also ordered some prefilled carts from BLOOG. I need help. I have decided when I come to this site my credit card will be in the next room.)

By the way I need to SERIOUSLY stop ordering things! When will this stop? Do you ever find the perfect e-juice?!

I have ordered way more juice than I'd ever be able to realistically vape, plus some flavors were a real dud for me. I ended up giving them to my dad or paying them forward to people who were interested. I've whittled my preferences down to a small handful of flavors I really enjoy. I prefer certain flavors certain times of the day. To complicate matters further, there are some juices I prefer to vape at 3.7v in a cartomizer and some I prefer to drip in a low-resistance atty.

Settling upon a juice (or small collection of juices) you really like can be difficult. Most vendors sell similar flavors. For example, a menthol one person may recommend as being the best menthol on the market may not be palatable to someone else. My best advice would be to think of flavors you like, find a vendor that sells sample size bottles at reasonable prices and then try them out. Once you find those flavors you like it's most economical to buy larger bottles and then you'll have a few on-hand to see you through.

Ugh....okay...so this can be fixed, no problem. You can cut it with PG or VG at 0mg nic using equal parts. I have used Glycerin that I bought at Walmart for that purpose. Please be aware that not only does it cut the nic level, but it also cuts the flavor. Here is a picture of what I got at Walmart. It cost me about $3.

I hope this helps! :)

There's no "perfect" juice. I smoked different brands for 37 years. The last 15 had been Misty Menthols 120's. I "discovered" Pure Cig (with a splash of methol) from Freedom Smoke USA. I have several "fun" flavors but the pure Cig has turned into my "go to vape". I sampled it without menthol. Then I order 30ml with. Before I finished with that, I ordered another 60ml.

Also, another note, I started out vaping around 12mg. "Lights" are necessarily light in nicotine. I went up to 18mg. and then 24mg. Now, I mostly "bounce around" between 18mg and 24mg. 18mg for most of the time (My Pure Cig is 18mg.) then 24mg when I feel that I need a "kick". Just using the 24mg. samples from FSUSA shouldn't harm you. You might find that you need them during times of stress.

(I also use cartomizers. To me they are the equivalent of the filters on my 120's.)

After spending a couple of months looking for "the perfect all day vape" I gave up. I'm just one of those people who has differing tastes. I actually have several favorite flavors that I go through. Because my tastes can fluctuate greatly from day to day I took up DIY. For me, it's cheaper and I can change flavors on a whim.

I have finally settled on my favorite two tobacco flavors.
But I will never settle down to a set number of novelty flavors.

I have around 15 different flavors that I like to have around that I might use at any given time.
And all I do now is buy samples, some that I know I like, and some I get just to try.

And yeah, I've thrown away or given away probably about 100 flavors that just didn't do it for me.

Oh my... yes it is a conundrum isnt it? Vaping is supposed to be cheaper, but it seems to be more of a hobby than smoking ever was! If you spend $10-$15 at each vendor your interested in trying new things your bound to go broke and quick! lol... If I could do it I would. Luckily common sense has been winning out cuz I simply cant afford it! Try a sampler and a couple cartos maybe? Then quit looking for a month... or make a wishlist? Fill a shopping cart then leave it for later? I think this is a problem for the majority of vapers here... lol GOOD LUCK!!! Check out the PIF forum.. if you're brand new and want to try a couple things there are some awesome folks in there who would be glad to help you out! And if you end up not liking some of the flavors you try, which is bound to happen, you can use those there in exchange for some new ones!

I doubt there's an always perfect ejuice. And sometimes batches vary too so even a near-perfect find may seem different the next time. And your tastes may change. But I think you can home in on what kinds of juices you like, what companies you like, what PG/VG you like etc. Unfortunately you may need to try a lot of juices to do that.

I found I'm most attracted to Turkish blends with some complexity, vanilla, chocolate, sweet RY4's, sweet 555's and mixing a bit of those last 4 into plainer Turkish blends. Recently found I can vape some vanillas all day (surprised me). My tastes don't seem to be unusual in any way but just a bit surprising to me because I didn't even like the first RY4 or 555 I tried and thought I could only be satisfied with tobaccos (not vanilla).

Re the FSUSA samplers - yeah I wish their samplers were lower, especially since they usually seem to toss in a free random one on my orders. I am on 16-18 but planning my move to 12mg. So I am thinking of getting some 0 nic vanilla and maybe a 0 nic Turkish blend and then once I've finished tasting the sample as-is maybe I'll cut them 50/50 with one of the 0 nic juices and turn them into 12mg flavored vanillas or flavored tobaccos. I'll look for some empty 6ml bottles and labels then i could do that.

Yeah re buying too much... I've been vaping 2 months and have 3.5 PVs (one fully outfitted plus extra parts for work) and have bought some stupid juices too, and tried some companies where I just didn't like anything I got. I had finally slowed down on the juices but now decided to go down to 12mg so I'm stocking those now. (I hope that's not just a clever excuse for buying more juices) But I haven't smoked a cigarette so I figure it's worth it.

Youll stumble on a site that has something ya like..and wiggle your way through flavors while finding some ya like, some ya hate, and eventually find one you cant put down for 6 months....nature of the beast. There is a reason why tobacco stores are lined with different sizes, looks, and flavors. Vaping is unfortunately REAL similar to starting over fresh looking for that right cig. order a lot of sample sizes ;)

I am addicited to trying new flavors too, but seem to keep going back to Geoff's Blend from TV. It is truly fun and exciting to try the different flavors, and there are so many to choose from.
Has anyone else tried TV and think they are the best?

Geoffs Blend from TV is my all day vape too. Absolutely the best. No contest!

According to this poll, the answer is yes...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/polls/131084-vote-best-juice-supplier.html

I have only found one flavor of Backwoods Brew that I still use, which is Malty Toffee.
I have not found any flavors from FreedomSmokeUSA that I still use.

I have about 10 flavors from Tasty Vapor that I use all the time though.

But, Geoff's Blend is NOT one of them!
It tastes to me like JuicyFruit gum with a little cinnamon mixed in.
Yeah, it does taste pretty good, but it just isn't something I find myself wanting very often.

I think the problem with Tasty Vapor is that they don't sell samples.
Because of that, not very many people get exposed to them.

But Mr. E-Liquid is now selling their samples, and that's a very good thing.
:)

What I have found so far is that there really isnt a perfect juice, because as typocinnamongrl says vaping is like a hobby. And with a hobby you will constantly search for better things, in this case juice. The next thing will be a better PV. But personally I was mainly a menthol smoker but did have a tendency to change up every now and then, searching for something better and that's the same with vaping. As so many before me said it comes with trial and error, but eventually you'll find something you really like and add that to your list of all day vapes. I thought I would mainly stick to menthol and tobbacco flavors as my vapes but that quickly changed once I started sampling items from different vendors and now rarely touch my menthol juices. But while searching for your perfect juice, you need to figure out a key component first, do you like PG or VG or a mix. I like VG better because it produces alot more vapor, than PG.

Regarding Geoff's Blend from TV, it is the juice I am currently vaping along with Hypnotic Mist (FSUSA). I read somewhere in the TV forum, that Geoff says the main flavors in his blend are a mixture of Cinnamon, bannana, butter rum, and bubble gum, after reading that it's all I taste now, knowing the flavors. I have let many analog smokers try it and they said "it tastes like Christmas," & juicy fruit gum. The flavors blend well and has a sweet taste to it. It would be my all day vape except it's not 100% VG. I hope this helps.
