Do you have to let in linger?

I'm an old man but remember that song ;)

At any rate what flavors do you think linger the most?

I've been vaping a combination of caramel, vanilla, tobacco mostly. I've done so for about 3 months at work and at home. No one at work really knows or has said anything to me. Again being a old man you wouldn't think of Red Bull as being on the list of flavors but I tried it and I liked it. My wife walked in bedroom (doors were closed) and immediately smelled the fruity flavor. She wasn't disgusted by it but obviously smelled it.

My question is what flavors are noticeable and which ones are not really noticeable? I don't want to vape anything at work that makes anyone question anything. As I've said I think the caramel, vanilla, tobacco doesn't seem to give off too much of a smell or my wife or co-workers would have said something in 3 months. Apparently this Red Bull stuff does give off quite an odder however. To me it's kind of tangy fruit punch flavor when vaping but my sense of smell is off and don't notice it after vaping. Apparently wife can pick it up 30 mins afterwards.

Halo's Belgian coco smells like poo! And it lingers a long time. Kind of a bummer 'cause I like the taste but the wifey can't stand the smell. I blamed it on the dogs for as long as I could but she caught on pretty quick!
She can also tell when I've been vaping tribeca but it doesn't bother her so much. Same with bobas bounty, she can smell it for a long while.
Probably a few others too but she's learned to only complain about the ones she can't stand, it's better than the smell of American spirit rollies!
Most people like the smell of my El Kamino, they say it smells like cookies! But I don't know if it lingers.

Absolutely the worst lingering flavor I have vaped is Belgium Cocoa from Halo. My wife said it smelled like dirty socks - and she was right. It vaped lovely, but the after-flavor she just couldn't stand. I would never vape that anywhere in an enclosed area.

I think the fruity vapes seem to be the most widely accepted. I vape a lot of hawk sauce and most people comment that it smells like fruit candy. It really doesn't linger that much at all being unnoticeable to most people after just a few minutes.

And I remember that song by the Cranberries. Hmm, maybe you need to find a cranberry vape...

Waffles, and everyone always loves it! I get the same effect when I vape NLV Gold. People's heads pop up and they look around, like a bunch of meercats, and ask "What is that sweet sweet aroma?"

I HATE THAT SONG! And now it's stuck in my head.

On topic, in our limited vaping history, it seems like any big cloud equals lots of scent. It seems like mint doesn't really emit a lot of odor, though. I had some Nutty Buddy from Pink Spot, and hubby immediately wanted a cookie. LOL

lol ... poor puppies

Probably 30-40 years ago since I heard this phrase but reminded me of "He who smelt it dealt it" ;)

Anyway I was mostly curious as to what I could and could not vape in my cubicle at work without having anyone notice. As stated I think the vanilla, caramel, tobacco combinations must not be too bad as no one has ever said anything to me about it. I'm glad wife pointed out the smell of Red Bull. I wouldn't want to vape anything that was extremely noticeable and then force the question of vaping at my work place.

For those who don't know, or don't remember, the song.....

After watching video I have no idea about what that song is supposed to be about. I give nephew control of radio when we go to grocery store and I still prefer to think it's about "farting". That's much more amusing than what ever they are showing in video. Thanks for clip though don't think I've ever heard the whole thing. The only part that sticks out is "do you have to let it linger"

Well I won't be vaping any of that at work then ;). I'm trying to draw the least amount of attention at work cubicle. Don't want anyone thinking I've been eating beans non stop ;)

I'll probably just continue with caramel, vanilla, tobacco flavors at work and experiment with flavors at home as no one has ever said anything about those flavors smelling or having an odor.

Try unflavored juice - zero smell.

Love the Cranberries :)
(I think I may have overdosed on "Linger" and "Zombie" about 15+ yrs ago... lol)

Ok, well since Halo's Belgian Cocoa has been mentioned and Boba's Bounty.. I'd have to agree that the Cocoa is stinky.. but damn it's good.. as to Boba's, yes it has a pretty strong aroma but it dissipates quickly.. not to mention being my favorite eliquid. One Halo that you might try, Mohamed.. is Halo's Sub-Zero.. it's an incredibly good (IMO) menthol and most menthol's tend to leave a pleasant aroma that is barely noticeable to others. Just a thought.

and Yes unflavored might be the ticket, but it's just so boring...
Good Luck, sure there will be more suggestions...

I'm in the same boat at work, keeping it on the DL with no strong flavors to draw attention. Fruits and tea flavors work well for me. I leave the tobaccos and other strong flavors for home. I've also taken to drinking hot tea all day. I figure if anyone notices a smell they will blame it on the tea on my desk. And it comes in handy with the not-so-stealthy-stealth trick of blowing the vape over the top of the mug like it's steam. Thanks ECF'ers for that trick!
