An Ego charger with an Ego battery? I just tried to use a 510 usb (NOT Blu) with an Ego 1100 non-twist and altho the light goes on on the usb charger (red) i=after 3 hours, no charge at all...

Yes, you should always use an ego charger with an ego battery. Next time you probably shouldn't try that or it might go boom.

The 510 batts that are charged on a USB are not as powerful a battery as an ego. At least, I don't think they are. I would be afraid it could somehow cause a problem. Ego chargers are fairly cheap, maybe $6
