I have no experience with any of those products, but since no one has responded yet I'll give you my innitial impressions from watching a couple of review videos.

The Tesla 3 is a semi-mechanical box mod with some built-in protection circuitry. It uses two LiPo batteries wired in parallel for a total of 5000mAh capacity. Onboard USB charging, passthru capable, powerbank USB output to charge a cellphone. Not a regulated mod, so there is no way to increase or decrease your vaping power except by changing your coil resistance.

PROS: This mod appears to be a solidly built device with a lot of battery capacity. Protection circuitry is a plus. Attactive mod appears to be comfortable to hold in the hand.

CONS: Personally speaking, I don't think I would like the large side grip fire button. My son has a SMOK150 regulated mod with a similar fire button; I'm not a fan, but that's just me. I had an original Innokin MVP which could double as a powerbank, but I never used it to charge my phone. I'm not a fan of mods with non-replacable internal batteries; once the battery is dead the entire mod is worthless. Also not a fan of onboard charging. Not a fan of using tanks on mech mods. These are just personal preferences.

In your experience which mod and batteries think would be great for you for any of the TFV8 versions?

You seem really set on using the TFV8. How so?

I've had no experience with the TFV8 tanks. As I said before, I've not been impressed with any type of tank on a mechanical mod. In my experience, tanks work best on a regulated mod where you can adjust the power output up or down. My :2c:

Just playing a little devil's advocate here with you. Not trying to sway you one way or another, just giving you one guy's opinion on things, which you asked for.

I love the Uwell Crown 1 sub-ohm tank on a regulated mod. You get a choice of different coil configurations (Kanthal, stainless steel, nickle) in 0.5 or 0.25 ohm. Coils seem to be lasting me about 4 weeks. It has a wide range of air intake with it's ratcheted air ring for either a tighter MTL or looser DL hit. Great for flavor and vapor. As much as I love this tank on my RX200 regulated mod, I don't like it on my mechs.

There's a wide range of regulated mods in a wide range of affordability. (Keep in mind that the juice attachment (tank or RDA) has more effect on your vape than the battery device.) In another thread, someone else asked for recommendations for a regulated mod that uses onboard USB charging. Recommend a 'medium' sized mod

I personally prefer mods which use replacable batteries over mods that use internal non-replacable batteries. Mods with non-removable batteries are useless once the batteries eventually dies. With a mod that takes removable batteries, when the battery eventually dies, you just replace $6 battery and not the entire mod. This makes better sense financially over the long run.

Recommendation for a small sized 18650 mod please

Mooch has tested hundreds of batteries and has a blog on which ones he recommends:

I have to say, Im with Batitude on this one. If your dead set on the TFV8 I would stick with the baby version. The TFV8 is a cloud machine, that's what it was made for and that's what its good at. Personally Ive been liking the RX200S or the IPV400 and the ultimo tank. Great flavor, great output and the coils last a long time.
