I kept a 15ml bottle of vg juice in my car for 6 weeks or so when daytime temps sometimes got into the lower 90's. At first I didn't give it a thought. After reading some thoughts on storage on the forum I decided to leave it there for awhile. I finally retrieved it last week and have finished the bottle off just in the last day or so. I could detect no difference in flavor or nic strength from other juice of the same flavor and strength I've kept stored in the house. FWIW.

Some of the juice I just received suggested it be refridgerated to keep it's freshness. Do you refridgerate, or just keep it in a cool dark place?

I started to keep mine in the fridge, and I noticed that my VG Banana juice got really thick when it is cold. Had to take it out a few hours before using it to refill carts with it.

I do although many do not, I don't think its required but one funny thing about refrigerated juice (I drip), fresh out of the fridge and a few drops it tastes better and plumes of vapor. Cold hitting the heat? Don't know but loads of vapor.

I stocked up, I always do at every scare, so I may as well keep in fridge.

I noticed the same thing, but in a slightly different way. I've been vaping just about non stop since I started, and after it starts to warm up it just doesn't seem to vape as well. But then I just set it down (hard to do)l.o.l and after it cools off for a few minutes the vapor production seems to be much higher. I think it has something to do with the cold viscosity of the vg/pg. the thicker it is the more it sticks to the coil and vaporizes more. But I have been wondering about the same refrigeration question.

If there's VG in your mix, YES YES YES.

VG can become contaminated with bacteria, and then infect your lungs. YUCK.

PG on the other hand is antibacterial, hence why it's used in products like Ozium. So it's not as big of an issue. Which is why I never mix 100% VG.

I keep my mixes refrigerated to retain freshness.

My bottles of unflavored concentrate I also tape the cap on to minimize oxidation (darkens the liquid) and also store it IN THE FREEZER. With PG in there, it doesn't change viscosity at all.

I can tell when a bottle is spoilt after being unrefrigerated for a few days when you vape it and it has this hideous vomit flavor undertone. Not very tasty.

best thing to do is keep a few 5 or 10ml bottles to refill and carry with you, use up and then sanitize in a dishwasher before refilling. Keep your bigger bottles cold.

As far as the myths circulating attributing refrigeration as being the cause of spoilage, this defies common sense and scientific logic. My guess is either a.) a VG mix became frozen, seperated and de-emulsified and/or b.) was precontaminated and continued to spoil, even under refrigeration. Remember, people: things still continue to go bad under refrigeration or even freezing - just at a slower rate.

Of course, anything you order these days could be from fresh to years old. And unlikely to have been refrigerated continuously, if at all. And god knows how it was produced. Clean rooms are unheard of in this industry. Handwashing? Now there's a lost art. Just stand in the doorway of a public restroom sometime and observe the number of well-dressed slobs that ignore the things mommy taught them about handwashing after using the bathroom. Thinking about ejuice contamination almost makes you consider allowing FDA regulation. Or at least USDA oversight. lol.

/thinking about what that venison smelled like after being in my freezer for 3 years, yeesh!

I keep a large stash in the fridge, and a bunch in a toolbox, and a bunch on my desk and a bunch on the kitchen table, and on my nightstand and in my pockets and in my luggage and in a hole in the backyard they'll never find no matter how hard they look, and in a hollowed-out Bible and in the VCR.

What?

It's not like I'm ever going to play a VHS tape again.

hahahaha this made my afternoon.

it’d be really funny if a friend was over your house & unwittingly tried to play a VHS. heh heh heh.

I just keep mine in a cool dark place, no room in the fridge. I do wonder how a hot atty would react to cold juice though.
