I don't bother with draining, cleaning, etc. I just use an atomizer until the vapor production is significantly reduced, 3 to 5 weeks, then change it out. New atomizers work usually work great but sometimes need a breakin period of a few hours to a day to get up to full production. If they sit for a day or two sometimes they need another breakin period. That is why I just use one and chunk it when its usefull life is up. Cleaning can extend the life a bit but isn't worth the hassle IMO.
So how do you know when it is dying, when the draw is like trying to suck a Wendy's frosty
through a straw and vapor production with fresh
batteries is less than half what it was when it was working its best.
