Do you rotate your atomizers, or use one until it dies?

I rotate the EVOs, the rest I use until they die. When vapor, draw and throat hit (or a short circuit hehe) gets bad the atomiser is trashed

I don't bother with draining, cleaning, etc. I just use an atomizer until the vapor production is significantly reduced, 3 to 5 weeks, then change it out. New atomizers work usually work great but sometimes need a breakin period of a few hours to a day to get up to full production. If they sit for a day or two sometimes they need another breakin period. That is why I just use one and chunk it when its usefull life is up. Cleaning can extend the life a bit but isn't worth the hassle IMO.

So how do you know when it is dying, when the draw is like trying to suck a Wendy's frosty through a straw and vapor production with fresh batteries is less than half what it was when it was working its best.

I started out rotating atomizers but switched to using them 1 at a time. I do however, have a combination of 7 devices going at the same time. I use a combination of 901s, 801s & a 401 with different flavors in each. I constantly switch back & forth between them & it seems to let the flavors stay more distinct than vaping only 1 at a time. I have only had 1 801 & 2 901 failures since Nov.

I just use them until they go cold. I have spare atomizers but dont really see the point in rotating.

I use RN4075 atomizers on a SD, 3-5 weeks till performance drops off then chuck em away and pop a new one on.

I rotate, but as seems to be the case with most of the other rotaters, this is for flavour reasons more than by way of resting them (though this may be a fringe benefit.)
If I stuck to one flavour, I'd probably still rotate (or at least aspire to,) but much less often.
Or I might even do a proper scientific comparison to see if it was beneficial (or at least aspire to that, if motivation faded faster than the atomizers )

I learned the hard way, that for me, I need to rotate. I had one super great vapor producing atomizer. I took real good care of that atomizer- never let it dry out, drained it every night, rinsed it in hot water and alcohol, reprimed....

Then, it just broke...there one vape and gone the next.... I have now tried 4 other atomizers and none are as good as the first... but they are or appear to be getting better... So, for me, because of the frustration of having 4 new atomizers that felt like I was sucking on a milkshake and working through the "bugs" on each, henceforth, I will always have spare atomizers and be rotating them.

The only one that I rotate is the one that I use for Mint. It seems that the flavor stays with the atomizer no matter what I try. No big deal however. Just swap in another one for other flavors.

I rotate all day between 2 801's..mostly to prevent overheating. I found that lifespan has really improved since doing this .. Haven't had an instant atomizer death since then.. they just slowly degrade over 2 months but not enough yet to throw them away.
Also pretty sure that using battery boxes mods with switches or manual switch USB seems to keep them pretty healthy daily as I find I don't have to clean them as often either. (biweekly instead of weekly)

I am now using one for my menthol/mints and one in another color I set asside when I feel like vaping anything else, which I also keep as my spare when I go out and about.
