I'm trying to register an account at these forums but it's impossible unless you speak the language

Example: random question for registration on Danish forum - "Det danske flag er rødt og .......". So I put in 'hvid', which is (supposed to be) white. No luck - 'Your answer to the random question is incorrect'. Looks white to me

Yes, thank you, Katya. I appreciate that the Danish flag is red and white. But I had assumed that there would only be one way to spell 'white'.

Tibby, there is only one way to spell flavour or vapour. If people can't spell, that is their problem.

The grammatical gender of the word 'flag' triggers an inflection in the adjective 'hvid' -> 'hvidt'

English lost this, very common way to group nouns, around 14th century

If you need to translation of any language to English then you should go to Google translation, where you can translate all other languages words in English or in other language!
