I've been sick with the flu all week :(

Starting to feel a lil better today, and enjoying some of the menthol flavors, but for the last THREE days I have had no desire to vape. In fact, when I tried to on Monday evening, it made me nauseous.

Anyone else experience this? Just wondering, cause when I was smoking analogs - it didn't matter how sick I was, I SMOKED!!!

Funny thing is, I wasn't even having mad cravings the last couple days. I was just ...... because I wanted to use my new drip tips and couldn't, lol!!

That sort of funny. I haven't been sick yet -only vaping for two weeks though. I know what you're talking about though. I've had pneumonia before and felt like I was only breathing with 1/3 of my lung capacity, and I still had to smoke. Sad, but true. I think its a good sign you didn't HAVE to have anything while you were sick. I hope I get to that point with vaping. I would love to do it just for pleasure, and not just as a replacement for analogs.

I know, right??? I thought it was a good sign too! My husband asked me why I was vaping this morning if I was okay without it the last three days. My answer? "Because I bought all this STUFF!!!!!" :)

Valleygirl, I don't know about how sick you have been before, but if it was truly the flu, you probably so sick, you did 't care if you lived or died!!. I have only had the flu once, but I am sure I didn't smoke for several days, because I was soooo sick, I didn't have the energy to get out of bed to go smoke.

I hope you feel better soon!

I have vaped when I am sick on several occasions, its my preferred method for drying out my sinuses and lungs as I am afflicted with overproducing mucous membranes. :(

I was sick earlier this week actually, unfortunately a common occurrence for me, and had my kit in the bed next to me. Husband even brought it to the first morning before leaving for work! If I can't kiss him, at least I can kiss on my cartomizer! ;)

Seems to be the difference between the flu and a cold. In the past two years I have had 2 colds and vaped right thru them with menthol and peppermint..couldn't taste anything else! The colds didn't last as long and did not turn ito brochitis! yeah me!
But for a flu...I don't know..seems you are so much sicker and run a fever. You will feel better soon ( I hope) and then you will want your Nic nuck!

I've had not one serious cold since I started vaping. Many others report the same, with speculation re reasons - but I'm not about to make general claims tha these are even cure for the common cold. But it's great, and also sort of weird.
I vaped through a couple of vomiting flus - ecigs don't make me feel queasy. I'd be interested in other's experiences too.
