I couldn't decide - I like both, so keep both running.
Use them both on EGO's when running around, but the T3's get their airflow cut off on my SVD.
Then this week, I got a VAMO - and the T3's work great on that...(but I don't like a full sized ProTank on the VAMO)...

So - I think I'll STILL just keep both going!
I got them with the old bases, but have since converted to new bases where you just replace the coil...

whats your thought on those mini T3s - I'm REALLY starting to like them - maybe more than evod

Oh it still matters!
I tasted that "wd40" kinda metallic flavor in a ProTank and tried everything - vodka, even boiling it - couldn't get rid of it. Til i washed with soap!

I hear that! I washed it in soap TWICE and that was after a vinegar bath. I actually squirted Dawn directly on to the PT2 parts then used a soft toothbrush to scrub that mutha silly in a hot bath. Yowza that was one nasty tastin' thang until it got baptized. :D Now it's bewww--tee-ful and I love it.

Just to clarify - I don't pre-wash a new coil. And I never soap them.
Just a new clearomizer - without the head - gets soaped.
From then on, they're just getting hot water rinsed.

If I was trying to get rid of a stinky flavor, I'd probably vodka soak a coil - but most of my flavors are somewhat OK intermingled. I never mind even if I get a few puffs with a remnant of strawberry in my new tank of tobacco. :)

I did that too with the PT2 but it still tasted bad so I included the head in the second go-round of washing. Since then I rinse all new heads in hot water before using, then spray with distilled water, 'dry burn' a few times to burn off the water, then add juice.

Sometimes I rinse between changing juices if the juice I'm switching to won't go well with what I was just vaping, but if there's any crossover potential, I don't bother. :)
