I recently acquired a Doc Dave mini micro, and being relatively new to genesis style atomizers, I have a couple of questions. Right now I have a single SS mesh wick and standard 3/4/5 (I forget) wrap 28 gauge Kanthal coil at 1 ohm and it produces a very nice flavorful vapor on my Roller. There are 3 holes in the top of this thing, so I assume that one of the holes is the filler hole and the other would be for another wick to run a double wick/coil or U-wick coil setup, right? I noticed also that if I lay the thing down that it leaks (duh). Is that just a fact of life with gennys or is there some way to prevent leaking other than just always remembering to place it upright? Does anyone plug the holes somehow or would that mess up the wicking? Thanks

Unfortunately, this is kind of a fact of life, something you just have to deal with with gennies. I've tried all sorts of ways to wick and plug and this and that, none of them have worked satisfactorily. If you plug the extra wick/fill holes on a genny, it wont wick. If you don't plug them, it'll leak. I love gennies, but they're difficult to take anywhere, which is why I ended up with the kayfun :).

I like my new Micro Mini, but there are a couple of caveats. The main was is the center / positive pin. It's flush at the bottom and doesn't make contact with some of my top caps. I couldn't see a way to adjust it. I got it to work with one of my Ba Guas, but not with a Nemesis. The other issue was 2 of the o-rings are damaged a bit. They aren't leaking or anything but pieces of it hang down a bit into the tank. It didn't come with extras. Got it from vaperev.com. Other than those issues, it performs incredibly well. Tons of vapor and flavor with a 28g 7 wrap micro with cotton wick.

As far as the vape goes, it's excellent. Plenty of vapor and flavor with a micro cotton build. The above caveats are annoying, but not showstoppers. I was hoping someone would post info on adjusting the center / positive post in this thread.

I bought it for an incoming Chi Sleek, which should arrive at the end of this month or in November. Works great on the Ba Gua, tho.

looks great!!! i like the flush look with the bagua....im not the biggest fan of the kmini on the bagua aesthetically, but that's why i bought it.....in general, it took a lot of fine grit sandpaper work on the switch for me to start using it lol....the mini micro looks fantastic on it... is it meant for mesh set up and u just use eko?

It's not quite flush with the Ba Gua - a bit smaller diameter, but it will be flush with the Chi Sleek.

It's meant for mesh, I suppose. I actually use cotton, as with all my gennies. And I do still use them all except not the RSST lately.

I don't like the look of the K-Mini on the Ba Gua either, but it works so well I use it all the time.

As far as the TI, yah it looks great, but not worth the extra dough.

In case anyone else hits this thread looking for info on the mini micro. I just got the Ti version from the classifieds here and found the same problem with the center pin immediately. After some research it turns out the solution is stupid simple. You literally just tap the center pin from the top post section with a hammer and it will move down. Obviously go lightly and apply just enough force with small taps to nudge it down. If you smack it too hard you risk bending the center post, although it would probably take serious force to do that in all honesty. Worked like a charm and while this is a pretty cave man approach you should be able to custom fit it to any 510.

Also, I just checked Bedazzletubes for replacement glass and o-rings. They are available for the mini micro. What a cool company to do replacement glass for our atties!
