Does a good throat hit come from the mg, or from the juice itself?

I can't seem to vape juices that don't give me a good throat hit.I like to feel something when I take a vape. I have a lot of flavors that are very tasty, but I can't vape them for long because it feels like nothing when I take vapes. It seems like the weaker mg level juices, have a much lighter throat hit

Does the throat hit come from the juice itself, or does it have alot to do with the mg level? I can always take the flavors that are "weak" and just order a higher mg level bottle, and it would fix my problem if its about the mg of nic.

It's a combination of things. Higher nicotine definitely gives more throat hit but that isn't the only factor. The VG/PG ratio effects it too, higher PG = more TH. And last but not least, menthol and certain flavors tend to be more robust and give more TH. I would try upping the PG ratio in your liquids if there is an option for that.

Yes, it's pretty much about the concentration of nicotine.

Thats what I had assumed, but I have a 12mg juice in 1 tank, and a 18 mg juice in my 2nd tank. The 12 mg has a better throat hit, but I can feel more effect of the nic in the 18mg obviously.

So take this:
Tank 1 - iClear30 (12 mg)
Tank 2 - T2 (18 mg)

My second guess is that the iClear30, sucking way more juice, burning better, or anything else on how the 2 tanks are different builds, is why I feel that hit that I like better.

I've heard people getting less TH with the iclear and that it does suck up more juice. Doesn't make sense. I have never tried it, so I am not speaking from experience, just based on what I've read here. On the other hand, lots of people LOVE their iclear, so who knows. Have you tried the 12mg juice in the T2 to see if that makes the difference? If it does, then you can narrow down the issue to your choice of clearo-and problem solved. :)

for me, its mostly about the nic content. the higher nic the more scratchy TH you get. now when it comes to the warmth of the vapor, that too can play a trick on the TH. menthol/mint can also trick the TH.

Personally, i find the best TH comes from drippers. my CT's and PT's provide a good TH, but only second to the RDA's.

Its a combo of things:
Nic mgs
PG content
Flavoring
Voltage/ohms

Example: I vape MV's USA Mix in exactly the same nic strength, PG content and on the same setup as their USA Rich. They state that USA Rich is the milder (less TH) version of USA Mix and its true... so flavoring counts. Cinnamon is obvious for flavoring TH but many vendors add pepper to their juice to supply more TH. You can't taste it but you can sure feel it and that's true of even the zero nic USA Mix. I there's pepper in it but not sure. I add it to some of my juices lacking TH in fact. Note: its not a good idea to lung inhale strong TH juices.

I've heard people say the iclears are juice hogs as well. In my experience (a week today) with the iclear30, it seems to use less juice than my ismoka bcc mega. 3ml will last me longer in the iclear30 than 3.5ml in the bcc mega. I don't get much of a throat hit with any of my devices and I vape 18mg nic. I think it's the juice I get though. Some is locally made, some is from MBV, but they're all 50/50. Throat his isn't as important to me as it used to be, but it is nice to have it sometimes.
