does all pg tast kinda like akaline batterys

kind of new to vaping, probally about a month in. i ordered a ego-t that came with alot of samples and the were 100%vg with 24mg nic, tast pretty good but been hearing alot of people saying pg juice taste better so i ordered some samples from a particular vendor which is suppose to have high quality juice and a ratio of 70%pg/30%vg which should be a good mix with 18mg nic. now i have never had pg juice so i thought it would be a good time to try since all the good reviews ive been hearing about pg BUT IT Taste Awful. it has a kind of akaline, perfume and some lime taste that can be tasted on all the juices and i had 7 samples. kinda reminds me of the taste of when you were a kid and touched a 9volt square battery on your tounge that sour sweet akaline taste, very hard to tell what it taste like, its a strong taste that over powers the juice, now my brother tried it also, and he as tried pg and couldnt even vape it horable taste. so what im asking is, is that what pg taste like or is there some other thing wrong with the juice

I had a similar issue on the Ego-T. Issue was NOT the juice, but the atomizer. It was suggested that I dry hit it a bit hard, perhaps during a tank change. I recommend cleaning the atomizer (I do a simple HOT water rinse and blow through then allow to dry overnight at least). Then, when putting on a new tank, I "hotbox" it a bit and get the vapor going. Seems to moisten the coil a bit with the juice. After I started doing that, no more metalic taste

I got some sample juice from a very popular vendor that tasted just like you described. After a few weeks one settled down and actually turned out to be very good while the other 6 still had that smell/taste. If it is the vendor I think it is it isn't the pg but their base. It was so bad it would make me sick so if I was you I wouldn't use it.

i will try that but ive tried multiple attys and all the same taste, even really strong when using it in a car, like i said my brother vapes and he tells me to open a window because it stinks so much in the car, ive even mixed 5 drops of the new mix and mixed it with 15 drops of 100% vg and that taste still can be tasted pretty strong but when i switch back to the vg that taste goes away. must be the juice because if all pg juice taste like that nobody would even use the stuff

I vape mostly 80PG/20VG and 90PG/10PG in cartomizers plus some 50/50 juices dripping on a normal atomizer and one 100% PG juice. They all taste fine except on dirty atomizers or new atomizers that have primer on them or if I singe a carto which i do rarely, that adds a bitter burnt taste

Your samples may also need to be steeped for a week or so. That could be another cause for the taste. I have found this out with some of my samples of PG (which I found out I am allergic to) on my eGo-T.

BTW Perfumey aroma can be from overflavoring or cream flavors or hand-extracted flavorings (especially if you asked for extra flavoring). That is one thing steeping can sometimes help. Uncover and pop out the dropper tip (hold with tissue and tilt the tip while pulling up) and set the juice somewhere safe from spills, kids, pets, for several hours to overnight. Then push the dropper tip back in and try again. If you don't like it yet then let it sit capped for another week or two and try again.

There are two vendors I got several flowery/perfumey juices from (Vaperenu and Madvapes) but I liked one enough to vape it anyway. The others I didn't like enough to bother steeping.

Since I've got some allergic reactions to the juices I was using. I tried some pure PG. Heaven gifts 0 nicotine, and Inawera ecobaza 6 mg. Both tasted fine, vaped the heaven gifts 0 nicotine for quite some time, while waiting for my new order. It is kind of sweet. I still vape it often, au naturel.

So it's probably not the PG, but indeed the flavoring.

Maybe the supplier is using a low quality pg. I have had liquids based with both pg/vg and haven't run into that issue. Ive also used the liquids in the ego-t, dse 901, 510 usb pass through, and an kr808. With tanks and standard attys, I haven't produced any tasted other than what it should have been. I would highly recommend trying another supplier for your liquid.

I would think that it would maybe be their bases like someone else mentioned if they all tasted like that.

they also offer sample packs where you can pick your own. They offer extra flavor shots and if you find a juice you really like you can get a 180ml bottle for $30, which breaks down to $5 for 30ml, its a great deal.
I dont find their PG to taste bad at all. I also use their PG to make my own juices and like it.
Ive vaped it by itself to see what the taste was and didnt find it to be weird/funny tasting

Greetings all - I've been vaping for two years now with a kissbox. I got mine while in South Korea and dumped analogs the day I got it. Haven't had one since. Auto switch went out after 22 months of using it so now I'm using the manual switch but I wanted to go ahead and upgrade so I decided on the eGo T XL. Ordered it from Janty USA and got it yesterday along with some juice. I have been using the Janty PG Strawberry 16mg since I got my kissbox and the stuff they sent me does not smell, taste or look like the same - not even close. It's supposed to be the same exact stuff... Ok, that being said, I get tons and tons of vapor but get basically zero TH and almost no flavor whatsoever. It does have a bit of an odd flavor that boarders on the burnt (hot) flavor I get on my kissbox when the cart needs juice. Any ideas? New atty issue??? I love the massive amount of vapor, just want the TH and strawberry flavor back. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I don't know why I didn't try this immediately... I just took a fresh/dry cart for the kissbox and filled it up with the new juice. It tastes and vapes exactly like the original stuff I got in South Korea so I don't think it's the juice. And that's after several hits to freshen up the atty from the old cart. Gotta be something with the new eGoTXL. Again, thanks in advance for any comments.

i think its the juices also, and just noticed dont know if it a quiencedince or not but after i emailed them all of a sudden theres a big sale on 130ml bottles which the vendor usually only sales 30 ml bottles looks like they are trying to move the juice fast???? dont know but may be my theory. whish someone around had some pg juice that i could try and wouldnt have to pay a fourtune for shipping. dont wanna be ordering juices that are no good, any body know of a really good vendor in canada?
