I posted this yesterday in general but never realized this board had a battery section and wanted to get another opinion. I'm using it on an ipv 2S.

I highly suspect also that its max is 20 amp. Looking at the specs, it says:

Fast Discharge: Constant Current: 10000mA (10amp), 20000mA (20amp)

Also the text in the middle column of the next row that says "For continuous discharge" is in a different size font. It could that they used a smaller font to avoid wrapping, but it could also have been edited after the fact by someone that wasn't careful about font size.

I would be leary of using this one in mechs with low sub ohm coils.

Well I don't have a mech, I have an iPV 2s, upgraded to 70 watts. So I should probably get a different battery then? What would be the best?

Illumination Supply have some VTC4 in stock right now for $8.50. They say they don't have many. There are no authentic VTC5 on the market that I know of right now, so IMO that's the best deal out there.

I guess I'll do that then. Not doing sub-ohms yet. Currently just using two Nautilus tanks and a Kayfun built to 1.1 ohms. I'm currently only using 10 to 14 watts. Should this current battery be fine for that?

For that range those are probably just fine. I wouldn't push them to extremes without knowing their limits for sure, but used as you describe there I don't see any issues. That's about where I normally run on a DNA30 device and am using 10 amp Panasonics (yes I do use better batts if I'm really going to crank it up, but my general day-to-day usage is well within the limits of those)
