I'm using one right now.
The Inferno comes in two sizes - 650 USB can be used as a passthrough or regular. It lasts me most of the day on a charge.
The 1000 is slightly longer, and would last me easily all day.
Volcano is about to come out with a tank system - it may be in the store tomorrow (shipping problems behind the scenes). Their forum will have the details on this.

The inferno will accept the cartriges and attys from the magma series (I believe these are the same as any 501 model), as well as cartomizors and clearomizors. They make for an outstanding drip machine. They are well made, and if you should have problems with them, Volcano has an excellent customer service department.

You can order them as a kit or the pieces separately. If you order separately, be sure to order the cone (although it is for cosmetics only, it kinda looks bad without it) and a charger. Details are on the order page.

I have one, and have been very pleased with it. I have never had either one go dead while I was using it, but it does take longer to charge than standard batteries. One of the things I like about it that I didn't think about ahead of time is that the light is on the button, and so it is more inconspicuous. It produces a great vapor, and it was fast shipping. All that said, I personally still prefer my thin models. But it will be great to have when I know I need an all day charge!

thank you, also the 1000 mah battery seems to be a plus for me. im currently using the original volcano and although it is nice for on the go it can be annoying having to charge it all the time

I agree -- I use a Magma and clearomizor when I'm driving or out and about, and the 650 when I'm at home. I like the 650 because it can be used as a pass-through - you can charge it and use it at the same time. With the 1000, you have to unplug it to use it -- but with the amount of charge it holds, that wouldn't be a problem. I'm probably goint to order a 1000 (silver) with the tank system in a couple of hours - just waiting for their catalog page to update :)
