I used Mistics for a month or so. The original liquid in their cartos is 100% PG, I believe. You could theoretically use any PG/VG ratio. However the higher the VG the harder it could be on any carto. Then you have to factor in the quality of the specific cartos, also the quality of the VG in the juice.
I never tried to refill the cartos with my Mistic kit, because that was back when I didn't know anything about vaping lol. I didn't even know that you could buy liquid to refill with at that time. I just used them until they were dry and then threw them out...which sounds absurd to me now.
You could probably use a high VG content, but it may shorten the life of the cartomizers. But then again I had one VG juice that was quite merciful to my cartos and let them live quite prosperous lives.

Note: Many 808 cartos will work on a Mistic (but Mistic cartos will not work on an 808). In fact, I've been haveing better luck with my Kranger cartos on the Mistic then on the Volt. I just did 100% VG about 20 minutes ago (but this wasn't a Mistic carto).

Lets just say, the Mistic batteries aren't bad and can vape any liquid, the Mistic cartos I think are not made as well.

When I had a mistic, I ran a 60PG/40VG with no real problems. However... Those mistic cartomizers are around 3 ohms. I recommend using some Boge 808 thread 2.0 ohm cartomizers on it. Just order a box of 5 Boge 2.0 cartos. by the time you go through those, you'll be ready to move on from the misitic, and then you can decide if your next one will be 808 thread or 510.
