Does Anyone Here Create Their Own Extracts For Their DIY E-Liquid?

Just curious, because I want to get into DIY but am wondering if it's possible to use your own extracts (looked up some vids on how to make extracts with the idea in mind).

There's alot of folks that use their own extracts here. Mostly tobacco, though I've seen coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, and vanilla. I'm starting to dabble in it a little myself lately.

Great, thank you! Is there a thread which discusses how to extract? I am aware of how to make vanilla, citrus, and chocolate extract using alcohol, but is there a different way?
What about things like berries?

It's mostly about extracting tobacco varieties, but I've seen some discussion of extracting from other things while clicking through just the first few pages of posts. Mostly the principle seems to be steeping macerated material in PG, with or without heat/pressure, then filtering the liquid.
