I've heard of people with the silicone wraps having their mods turn interesting colors as a result. Do you have one of those rubbery wraps, or (as I like to call it) a "mod condom"?

In terms of removing the pink, you could try rubbing it with a dot of rubbing alcohol/warm water/paper towel.

Hey nyiddle yes i did have one of those condoms on it. I had it on for about 3 weeks on off but more on then off.

I tried rubbing alcohol and nothing. Makes me so sad because i over paid for it at a local shop and im thinking of buying a new one in the near future

Dang. Yeah, if I had to guess, that's the cause. Dunno why that happens. Bit odd. If you look online, there are other people reporting the same thing happening, but as far as I can see nobody has posted any solid resolutions.

Fortunately, Sigelei's are selling for pretty gosh darn cheap these days. Definitely better to go the online route through Eciggity or another place during a sale (I've seen the Sig150 TC as low as 65$ w/ sales) rather than go to a B&M where you can't exactly "price match".

I've got a black Sigelei 150W box mod and so far it is very nice. I would try and contact Sigelei and see what they have to say. They may have a simple solution. Might be able to just buy a new sleeve for the box mod to hide the color issue.

Is it painted white or anodized? If it's paint, just have to determine if it's worn down around the edges showing a primer, or if the discoloration is just on the surface of the paint. If it doesn't appear to be worn down, some car polish would probably remove it. If you don't have any of that, a little tooth paste will also polish most paints.

My black Sigelei 150W has a smooth satin-like finish that may be damaged with any abrasives. I would call the manufacturer and ask them otherwise it will void all warranties/returns.

It is neither paint nor anodized. It has a velvety soft texture like satin. I'm guessing it is a plastic or teflon-like coating of some sort. If you open the battery bay door, you can see the base paint color. In my case it is black, but flip over to the exterior of the battery door and it is as smooth and soft as a baby's bottom.
