what kind of battery the 510 uses?

Milan, To me that's a confusing question. The Joye 510 for example, is a battery and atomizer adapter, all in one. When the battery fails, which it will eventually, you can not replace the battery to my knowledge. If you are asking about 510 atomizers, they will fit many models and mods including rechargeable and replaceable battery mods.

Let me know what it is you are trying to accomplish.

Sorry I wasn't being very direct. I wanted to know if maybe the 510 uses a lithium ion battery because I heard that those types of batteries are better to be charged more frequently.

If you google Joye 510 and lithium ion it would appear that they are indeed lithium ion battery's.

510 batteries are either 180mah lithium ion or the megas are 280mah lithium ion.
Rechargeable up to 300 times each.
Average use before recharging is 1-2 hours for the 180mah and 3-5 for the 280mah.
