I was just thinking about a 510 to 510 adapter myself. Not because of juice leakage, but in order to give me a little more cartomizer sticking out from my Riva cone. When I use 808 cartos with my 510 to 808 adapter, the carto sticks out just enough. When I use the 510 cartos, there isn't much sticking out. My lips hit the cone.

Maybe a 510 to 306 or 306 to 510 adapter? If such a thing exists. Same threads I think so I'm not sure if there is a need for one.

If anyone knows, please post.

I just found this:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vaporflow/137270-new-adapters-stock.html

It is a post in the VaporFlow forum. (I am not affiliated with them)

On their site, it says:
Not all adapters are created equal! These are made to order from stainless steel.

So maybe, they can make a 510 to 510 adapter. If they can, they might also be able to close up the middle hole to prevent juice from going through. That might cause airflow issues though.

tried this idea but it didn't work.
even with adaptor, you'll still need to clean the batt. and as often as you'd need to without the adaptor. The reason is that most fluid on the batt. is actually condensed vapor that goes the "wrong way" and not simply leaked fluid.
what u can do to minimize it is to make sure u don't release the -ve pressure at the end of the puff. take in all vapor.

I went to the site Type0holic mentioned and I left them a message. I will post my findings when they get back to me. I am hoping to get an adapter that is sealed (no hole) in the center so I can avoid the back flow vapor from getting to the battery well. My top is sealed. I am not worried about juice getting into the battery. I am hoping to minimize the amount of time I am cleaning that area. If I can just drop the adapter into isopropyl with my atty it would make cleaning a cinch.

Should be easy to make one. You need:

1) An old "busted" atty
2) A SEALED "battery connector" (like from an old battery).
3) Soldering skills - enough to solder a center connector wire on both sides

Use the old atty and solder a wire from center to center (use fairly heavy stranded wire - insulated of course) between the connectors. Make sure the centers connect without touching the outside "ground" - keep the exposed wire as short as possible. The center is the positive lead, the outside "shell" is the ground. Test it for no shorts!! You may wish to use some heat shrink tube. Epoxy works for gluing the parts in, or solder them in place.

You can get sealed connectors at Welcome to MadVapes LLC. See the modders section of the forum for more info and disclaimer stickies (at your own risk...etc.).

Have fun!

P.S. You have to remove the "guts" from the atty. Oh, and use lead-free solder just in case.....

Thought you'd like to see what I've done with my Riva:

I'm going to try using 2 adapters. But here is what VaporFlow told me.

Jaebihn,
Thanks for contacting us.
We do not have the ability to make custom adapters at this time.
Our machine shop makes adapters for us with extremely high minimum quantities.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best,

Jason
