I have been through 4 or 5 tanks in the last 6 months and every one of them was garbage. The most recent is a T3S from Lotus. Low and behold, made in China with lotus stamped on the box. I have yet to find a quality tank that didn't leak, gurgle or dry hit after 3 drags. The T3S is supposed to be something special but after 2 drags it gurgles and fills the top of the battery. I'm just so tired of spending money on garbage made in China. They either leak, dry hit, or the vapor starts deteriorating after 3 tanks. i cant afford to keep buying tank after tank to experiment, and then replace coil heads every other day. Is there something out there that is a proven winner?

Please dont respond with I've been using XYZ with no problems. thats just another opinion that won't help. I'm looking for data that shows me a proven winner, time after time. At this point it's cheaper to keep buying cigarettes.

So if there's some data that shows tests that have been done that clearly dictate the winner I want to know.

One other thing. Whats with all these companies like Lotus selling knockoffs from China, and passing them off as a certain model. We all know items from China are junk, with no tolerance control or quality control. Are there any sellers that actually sell a quality tank that isn't a cheap knockoff?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

Most likely many of your problems can be solved. First, to fix a flooded atomizer take your tank off the battery and blow through the mouthpiece (with a paper towel under it). This will drain the extra eliquid.

When you inhale, take a long smooth draw vs a short sharp draw. This will prevent extra eliquid from being pulled into your coils and flooding it. Inhalation technique with an e-cigarette

Whenever you first sense that your atomizer is beginning to flood try this:
1. Open up the airflow so when you take a hit you are not pulling in as much juice into your coils (if your tank has airflow control) .
2. Raise your voltage or wattage if your battery allows you to do this. This will vaporize more eliquid.
3. Tip your battery up (and take a few hits). By tipping it up you will prevent more eliquid from being fed into the coils.

Give one or all of these a try.:)

yes there are reliable tanks.... for example a real Kayfun 3.1 but you get what you pay for too.....
so I settled for something not so expensive

the HCigar version of the KF3.1 ( BTW which works just as good as the real one)

and as far as some data base of info on tanks.... nope nothing exists since the market is moving forward way too fast to do one....

yawns all that and you didnt address my question?

Rude is not going to make flow charts fall out of the sky there TeX.

China can build some pretty nice stuff, maybe you haven't heard, they have a space program, and ballistic missiles too.

I still prefer my stuff to be made in Greece, or Poland, or the good old USA, by good and more importantly friendly people.

look in to rebuildable tanks . you can build it the way you want . no heads to replace just gotta build your own coils. it becomes very easy with alittle practice . and most rebuildable tanks have air flow control . with a rta you can pretty much dial it in to exactly what you like . and a fogger v4 is authentic and has a good price point . but some clones such as the tobecco orchid clone are very good and reliable . and just a heads up some respect here will get you alot further and better replys . good luck! hope you find what your looking for .
