I bet they do help food cravings!

Yes, absolutely. The nicotine from tobacco or, more to the point, from a PV acts as an appetite supressant.

Frankly, if I had to use a PV for the rest of my life and that allowed me to remain free of tobacco and avoid increased appetite, I am quite willing to pay that price.

I've been a type one diabetic for 18 years. I did a lot of research over the years, and now that I don't smoke or dip my Blood sugar levels are better. Both of those (yes even cigarette) have sugar added to them. 99% of flavors added to e juice don't contain any sugar. I think i remember seeing two with sugar. Most e juices use artificial sweeteners because sugar will caramelize on an atty. I" use Stevia in my e juice, which is derived from the Stevia plant, which I've been using for years in other things. Available at health food stores.

Thanks so much for the input on this subject. I have not noticed any real difference in my sugar levels but only because since my heart attack I been having problems getting them under control as it is. I think I like the fact about the cravings since i do love CHOCOLATE it would most definitely be a good thing if I could substitute something for that craving!! I had heard people also loose weight because of some of the flavor deterring the appetite was just wondering if anybody here had it help them,

Well, thinking on the subject at a nutrition level: the sugar carbon hydrates are absorbed to your system threw your stomach and intestine. Yes, some of the "vapor" may go to these organs, but that is so a few portion, and considering the portion of sugar that a e-liquid may have, i believe the influence would be just near to none. No proof at all, that's just my 2 cents.
Regarding the loss of appetite, well on the contrary now i stop analogs and start e-cig i have more appetite. But when i smoked analogs and i was hungry but still waiting to eat or something, i would smoke more. My hunger would raise but my appetite by itself would lower, hope you understand what i'm saying...
