Is it just me or does it annoy the piss out of you when media calls mods and other batteries "vape pens." it does me. It's like nails on a chalk board.

Not as bad as when they call vaping smoking, or when they refer to them as tobacco products.

"Vape Pen" is just a term used for the basic ego style batteries and clearos. But yeah, I get what you're saying. When the media uses the term, it makes them look like they don't know .... about about vaping or anything else. Most of the time they don't know what they are talking about anyway and are too stupid to feel any embarrassment. Just point and laugh at these people.

Vape pens doesn't bother me when applied to eGo types.

Calling vapour (esp exhaled) water vapour is probably at the top of my list. It's already harmless, no need to keep people ignorant with misinformation.

Calling vaping smoking is another for obvious reasons.

Calling juice (or e-juice, or e-liquid if you prefer) oil is another. Last thing we need is to make people think 1. hash oil, or 2. vaping oil is OK (It's NOT).

The term Vape Pens makes people think of school children, not surprising they use it.

Tbh, I have caught myself calling it oil a few times. I stop and correct myself right after though, lol

Anytime the media says anything they generally annoy me. If they published a story tomorrow claiming vaping cures cancer and makes you live another 20 years, I would be looking for ways to quit.
