Does it help cartos to give them a break?

I have used the same gold tip since Monday. I swapped juices last night, and so I started a new carto. It is definitely an easier vape. My other one is still vaping fine, but I can tell it is not drawing as easy. No complaints here, and I understand they eventually die, I really am just wondering if giving them a breather helps.

I do, around day 5 or 6 and go to another carto. When I use it again about 5 days later, I get another 4 or 5 days. In all, I get about 10 days.

I cleaned it for the first time to see if it will help extend the life. I ran hot water through, then soaked for 30 minutes in alcohol, then placed in the oven set on warm to dry, for the afternoon. I have not tried it yet. It only took a few minutes for the steps.

I have no desire to go through a long pita procedure or drawn out ritual to revive. If what I did does not work I will put it in the trash.

I've found that if I let a carto sit, loaded with juice, when I come back to it it is usually gunked up. I'd say store them as empty/dry as you can. Just MHO.

I'm gonna try this. I've gotten into a 'routine' of filling several cartos the each night, then swapping them out as needed the next day. This seems to work for about 3 days, then all of 'em start go get gunky, won't hold much juice, or in the case of the 808 megas - taste burnt in about 30 mins. I'm gonna try cleaning them, then storing them until I use them.

I really am on the fence as to weather I really care about stretching the life of these. 2 of the V2's have lasted me 2 weeks of heavy daily use. I'll be happier when I can get those without the drip tips. I am just getting used to the taste of the 808's. Not bad, but when they are getting dry they taste burnt. V2's haven't done that to me at all.

I'm looking forward to the new 808 MEGA's and the drip-less V2's, that's for sure!
