Does the Ego center pin issue still exist?

Hello all,

I have not used an ego type battery in years.. In the past the center pin would push down requiring tinkering to bring it back to a working level. I am looking at getting some ego batteries (vv type, twist etc) and was wondering if the issue still exists or have the worked around it with a spring or fixed post?

In my experience joyetech batts don't have those issues with the eGo-c system or the Kanger BCC's. For me it was almost always Vision products - CE's, stardusts, mini v.novas, that need the center posts pulled up. I also had at one time some of those 'eGos' vv PT (not Joye) with the led at the bottom for charge indicator and they had batt post problems.

I am purchasing that new 1200 mah they have out. How do u remedy the post situation if it occurs.
Also how long ago did u own one?

I still have them - probably put them on classifieds They work and only one had the problem chronically. A permanent fix involves finding the right size O-ring and fitting it under the post. There's a thread on it here somewhere....
