Once upon a time I thought I saw a fix for putting a new o-ring under the center pin to fix the constant need to pull the pin up to get a good connection. I can't find it. Searched You-Tube, Google, no luck. I'm placing a fasttech order now and want to add a pack of 50 O-Rings for $1.00 to it, but not sure what size I need. This is to use with generic 1300mAh Ego Twists. I want something to slip over the center pin to give it a more permanent fix. I'm looking at this page now and very confused Found 490 o-ring at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping They are all in Height, Width, ID, OD, What do I need to slip over, then under an EGO center pin? TYVM for any help guys!

The #60 is also known as the 260, so that part should be the same.

It was originally used for the Vamo series. After more than a year of use, I used one on my SVD with good results.

Unless you want to pull the pin all the way out and desolder the wire... not recommended on an eGo style!

I found that cutting the O-ring once, so it's a C, and then working it around and stuffing it under the pin's lip worked fine.

(And most any decent hardware store will have them in smaller quantities. 50 will last you a long time!!)

Good luck!

I found circuit board spacers from madvapes as a better solution:

Circuit Board Spacer

They come with 'tabs' - likely from manufacturing in a row - so you have to break them off before inserting onto the center pin - however, it's a good idea to leave 'some' tab to get a tight fit so the thing doesn't fall out. I do a swipe with a Qtip before charging and the ones where the tab was sheared off sometimes fallout. :)

Have to get a few of those my next order from them. Nice find!

Of course, with the O-ring, you don't have to pay shipping :)

Lol... true. I wait until I have something else to order from madvapes, since I only have two batts that need them and have others to use instead. Didn't help the istick problem I have - which is the opposite pole - the threading :( ... which is unfixable without a complete replacement of the 510 connection.
