Does the Trident have single coil airhole options?

Hey guys

Sorry for the barrage of questions to the New Members Forum, but I have decided to splurge on some vape gear lately and have a question about the Trident rda. I am aware that it is an rda with adjustable airflow options. However, I typically stick to single coil builds for the convenience and ease, and I was wondering if the trident had an airflow configuration that suited single coil builds? (IE the airholes are open only on one side)

It does. Three different size air holes for single-coil mode. Dual-coil mode only has one size air-hole (two of them obviously) and they're quite large, but you can always cut down airflow by partially obscuring the holes. I find it to be very airy.

That said, I'm getting no joy from mine so far. I've made good builds for my Squape, Russian 91%, Aerotank, Protank, and IGO-L; all with "micro-coils" and cotton. But the Trident ain't working for me. I've done a 28 gauge single (around 1.4 ohms) and a 30 gauge dual (between 1.1 and 1.2 ohms) and neither produce anywhere near the vapor that my IGO-L does. I'm running this on a DNA-20 mod. I gotta be doing something wrong, but right now, I'm baffled what that might be.

Like above the trident will let you do single or dual with the air hole selection top cap.

I am running 2 28 guage .57 ohms and cotton. Vapes like a dream and blows clouds on my mech with 30 amp sony battery.

I have a clone V1 and my real V2 is coming in the mail:)
The airflow adjustment is great, with a bunch of options, and mine always seems to provide great vapor. I build mostly sub ohm single micro coils using cotton yarn, although I do make the eventual 1.2-2 ohm coil. The clone was my first RDA, and I couldn't be happier with it for the price.
And the Sony 30 amps rock!
