If this question has been asked i am sorry to ask it again. I am trying to have success here. I have been reading several post and it seems that people all have the same go to vendors. In the past i bought from MBV and as the flavors was decent nothing kept me from the cigs. Now i am trying again and I flavors coming from MBV (again) Halo and one other place. It could be i am doing something wrong or that i am just going to fail. I am using a MVP2 with Kanger protank 2 and vision vivi nova mini size and full size. also a innokin iclear 30. not the iclear30s. Any help I get i thank you in advance

Vendors are definitely all different.

You have to experiment and find what you enjoy, taste is quite subjective.

DO you have a local vape shop nearby where you can sample? Thats best to get an idea. I dont have one so I ordered a lot of samplers based on reviews here in the General E Liquid section. I tried to pick reputable companies and then select flavors that sounded appealing. I will warn that I still had plenty of misses in my choices!! LOL I paid the ones I hated forward to others that enjoyed them :)

Hope this helps!

Samples, samples, samples. E-juice flavors are super subjective. Way more so than food or drink. There's no consensus on go-to vendors. Lots of people like MBV, lots of people don't. You really only hear the positive because slamming a vendor whose flavors you didn't like is kind of rude.

For example, I don't like the HHV juice I've tried. It's one of the most popular vendors on this forum. Lots of people rave about their juice and love them. I wouldn't call their juice bad, just not to my taste. But I'm not going to post tons of stuff all over the place about not liking them.

So forget the idea that there's some vendors that everyone loves. There isn't. You have to try them for yourself.

Of course we can point out the vendors who are putting out a higher quality product using better, more expensive ingredients. Like, say, Five Pawns. That doesn't necessarily mean you'll like Five Pawns juice more than MBV juice.

I agree 100% with szot, there isn't a magic pill (or e-juice) that gets you to quit cigarettes, YOU quit cigarettes.

What vaping will do is replace the habit .... some tips I found on my journey to tobacco freedom are .... cig-a-likes just didn't do it for me, it seemed like I was always recharging or refilling the carto or something, also chasing an e-juice flavor that replicated my brand of cigarettes was a failure, I never found one that was close to flavor or satisfaction of a "stinky". I finally gave up trying to replicate my cigarette and started trying to replace my smoking habit with a vaping habit. I bought myself a vv/vw mod and found a few flavors of juice I enjoyed (non-tobacco) and whenever I would normally smoke, I vaped instead. Much to my surprise within a day or three I was no longer reaching for my pack of ciggies ... I was reaching for my VTR.

I think we've all gone through the beginning juice issue. I personally don't care for cheaper juice companies. I also tried Virgin Vapors and MBV but it did not work out for me. I came across this thread which helped me through the hump. I recently discovered the infamous Boba's Bounty by Alien Visions. I like it not because its the best tasting juice (its good but not great), but it has a balance of richness, vapor, in-hale/ex-hale performance, and complexity. For me, this is the type of juice I like and why "simple" juices don't work for me. This only came after many trials-and-errors. The only other advice is not to limit yourself. Don't rule out dessert or menthol flavors if your a tobacco person; I would have never thought I would like juices with a little menthol; never a menthol smoker.

Habits take time to change. Don't beat yourself up. This is what I'm telling a person I'm working with. She is vaping and smoking (obviously tricky) while doing a reduction method. This gives her time to figure out her juices and how to vape; it also helps reduce the shock to the body. If you feel like you about the give up, try to take things a little slower. You don't have to do this overnight. The person I'm working has a three month plan. It works for her but everyone has their demons.

If you do fail just keep going. The more you try the easier it gets. I smoked two packs a day and tried quitting a minimum of 100 times. It took over five years (with NRT) of constantly trying to quit. It got to the point my body didn't go through hard withdrawal anymore. Just keep going you'll get there.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking here. If you started vaping and then "hit the wall" where all your flavors went flat and you couldn't taste much of anything, that happens to almost every person new to vaping. You vape around/over/through a phase like that - it doesn't last forever. (I would have to say for most people less than a week.) That's when you have to try a new flavor, possibly something out of your usual comfort zone.

If it's more a general question of what tastes better than what... you kinda have to sort that out for yourself. There are a few places that get mentioned a lot. The one you mentioned keeps coming up because of 1.) great prices 2.) excellent customer service 3.) good - but not great - flavors. In that order.

If you feel a need to explore to find something you are missing please do. But don't go nuts doing it. Stick to sample sizes or sampler packs on any first time order with an untried place. If it's good for you - great, go back and get some more! But if you order 30 bottles all from one place, find you don't like anything about the first three you try, chances are that will be a repeat experience for the remaining 27. It's not always about a flavor, for the sake of a flavor. You may find you don't like any of a given vendors stuff - because all their flavorings come from the same manufacturer and have a common carrier, you don't like something about the taste of their nicotine, the PG or VG liquid they use has something you pick up on and you don't like it etc.

What nicotine level are you using?

I think you are saying that you need to find a juice to help you from going back to the cigs, but if you can give us a little more information to go on like nic level and maybe how many cigs / what sort of smoker were you.

I still haven't really found that wow juice that blows me away even after months of trying. But I have found several that I enjoy to the point where I can vape and not smoke.

Thanks for all the info. After reading the responses I guess I wasnt clear on what I was looking for. I buy most all my juice 24mg nic. I thought I needed the high nic cause I smoke just under 2 packs a day. My main question was does the vendor really make that big of a difference in juice quality. Thanks again

Oh it does. Just comparing the likes of basic Dekang liquids to MBV the Dekang stuff will taste like chemical crap. Then again, if you compared MBV Cinnamon Danish - which a lot of people like - to Cinnamon Danish Swirl from The Vapor Room - there is no comparison to me. The TVR version is 5 times better.

Speaking of: If you are looking for stuff to try the 5 bottle 6 ml sampler pack at The Vapor Room is on sale through the end of the week. Normally it's $20.00, right now it's $17.00 You get to pick any flavors you want.

we are all different...I can vape almost anything and like it..I vape MBV daily and love it...I like 555 flavor from anyplace...but again flavor is not going to make you quit the tobacco..quality is hard to define when it comes to juices...to me MBV is quality to you maybe not...just like I prefer Chevys and you make like Fords..

Okay, the short answer is yes, the vendor does make a big difference in the quality of the juice.

I read a lot of juice reviews on Spinfuel, they have a criteria they use for even considering a company to review. All of the vendors I have tried from their reviews have been very high quality vendors, and they have not steered me wrong yet. It is a good starting point, but you will have to decide for yourself on what vendors to deal with. There are also a LOT of highly reviewed vendors here in the forums, read up on the ones you are interested in, and make your decisions based on your own research. In the end, it doesn't matter what anyone else says, you have to like it. As always ... YMMV!
