Does the Zmax use both 2-18350's or 1-18650?

I've been thinking of getting a Zmax Rev2,but on some site it recommends the use of only 1-18650 but on Smoktech's website it says it can use either 2-18350's or 1-18650?

Which is true does it use only 1-18650 or can it use 2-18350's also?If it can use both is there any advantage?

Here's a link to Smoktech's Vmax rev 2 in which it says it can do the above:

ZMAX Rev.2 Variable Power (adjustable wattage), Variable Voltage APV by SmokTech - Stainless

Some sites say both, some sites say 1-18650.If it does use 2-18350's does the voltage out-put range of the Zmax change?

I don't know what sites you're looking at, but any site I've seen says you can use 1x 18650 or 2x 18350. Those who have tested it have tested it with both battery configurations. Both the Zmax 1 and Zmax 2 can be used with one 18650 or two 18350s.
And yes, Zmax 2 has an 8th menu for RMS which means the settings are accurate with the value displayed.

Watch this, it answers all the questions you've asked: A PBusardo Review - Smoktech Z-Max V2 - YouTube

As mentioned it can use both. You should get and use the extended endcap to use 2x 18350's.

For the most part in RMS mode (on V2) you will get similar performance in either configuration.

Where the 18350's shine is dual coils on higher settings as it seems like the boost circuit for the 18650's hits a limit at some point (see pbsardo's review).

I personally prefer the 18650 as I already have a lot of those, have good chargers, and it's easier to charge/maintain 1 battery. I also don't push my cartos/attys to really high limits, so I should be good with the 18650 limitations (which are few).
