Lately i've noticed that my face has been feeling alittle greasy since i've been vaping more...

Honestly, it could be many things (besides vaping). I live in florida (its hot as bawls here). Maybe drinking water? Could be the nicotine?

Im not sure... I am also 20 years old and so that could totatlly be it as well! Haha, but has anyone else had this feeling while they vape?

Tucson, it's a dry heat
Yep - it's the PG/VG residue - it evens out after a few weeks. Your nose may be "runny" too from condensation and when you rub it, your hands get sticky, lol. It's better than stinking of analogs right? Just wash your face an additional time during the day.

EDIT: I truly believe this is what causes the "vaping zits" some people get when they first start.

I'm quite a bit older than you...and I've seen many claim the same greasy face problem. I had it the first month I started vaping, then I started taking better care of my skin and it's gotten better.

It could be part of detoxing from smoking, it could be a film from the vapor (it IS glycerine after all). Could be the weather, but I started in March in the Pacific NW--not exactly a hot spot. But yeah, I had it.

Hmm... maybe. I always attributed that to sticking the same mostly-unsanitized object around our mouths day after day. At least with analogs we got a clean tip each time.

I wonder if someone smoking analogs out of a cigarette holder would have the same issue.

I also "play" with drip tips with my mouth way more than any analog filter.

And lastly, yeah, slight dehydration will do that, too.

And MORE lastly, yeah, you're 20. If you're anything like me a decade ago it was simply par for the course.

Oh!I had chapped lips like you wouldn't believe! I was putting on lip gloss every time I turned around, lol
That resolved itself too after awhile :D

Just a word of advice from my own experience...don't use Chapstick or Blistex. I used to use Blistex all the time, and it actually makes your lips worse. A bit of vaseline actually works better, and they sell it in a little tube (Vaseline Lip Therapy). Just my :2c:

Strangely enough, my skin feels plumper and softer. I think it may be due to my keeping better hydrated. I definitely wasn't drinking enough water when I was a smoker (up to a month ago) and I had/have what is so yuckily termed "smokers' face." The extra hydration and perhaps the glycerine may be helping smooth out the wrinkles! In any case, not smoking has definitely improved my my complexion and circulation!

Obviously, this is anecdotal, individual experience from an older, long-term smoker...but it's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I wish that was me...actually I'm drinking over a gallon a day now, and my face is red, dry, and the wrinkles are more pronounced. I looked better when I smoked, but I'm hoping to GOD that it settles down.

Yes the condition of my face has improved greatly as well....I didn't realize that all the blotchiness in my skin was due to smoking.
Didn't realize how poisonous smoking was until I stopped.
ETA: It took a while.. I started to notice a difference after a couple of months.
