As I'm just into my 4th month of vaping, I'm beginning to taste more and notice more things that I didn't notice before. I have pretty much consistently been vaping a 50/50 blend on all of my flavors. I am just now noticing a kind of a greasy aftertaste that is really bugging me. I'm also noticing a muting of flavors. I'm wondering if changing to a higher PG level would fix this, say 65/35. Anyone else experience this? It's like how your mouth feels after eating a greasy cheeseburger...not great. I would still like to get good vapor so don't really want to go to an 80/20, which I know is standard for many vendors.

For me and my results...
I have done a lot of testing with mixes all the way from all 80/20 to 20/80 PG/VG. With most juice makers that I have tested with I have not had a huge difference in Vapor amount going from 80/20 to 50/50. The biggest difference was when I would go lower than 50/50 for the vapor levels.

And for a greasy or oily feel, That has been more noticeable with the Nic level more so than the PG/VG levels (for me, anyway). At least with the handful of vendors that I know where they get their supplies from anyway.

But with all that said, I would think the VG would be considerably more oily/greasy than the PG, just by going from the feel of both.
Good luck with your quest for the answer.

I'm at 12mg.....new order should be here tomorrow with juices at 6mg. I think the VG is more oily for some reason...must have read it somewhere. Oh well, I'll experiment. Thanks Tyranny!
