I was vaping menthol flavor with 18 mg for 1 month and I was pretty good with it. Vaped 1/2 ml a day and thought I was going to quit smoking completely. Then, that juice arrived...a cherry taste mixed with cigar, 11 mg. For a smoker for 10 years, that was the best taste in cigs (except hookah..nothing can replace it!)

Now I am vaping 2 ml a-day and I am almost out of juice and reordered one already..I guess I am now addicted to something else other than analogs..

Long story short don't buy more of your favorite juice if you want to quit smoking completely.. *sigh*

I agree Vape away. I have tried to quit tons of times and i switched over to a Halo Tirton and for the first time in 26 years I dont want a cigarette. No fooling my rig provides me with what I need and Im vaping 2ml a day as well and I to thought it was alot but from what Ive read on the fourm the first month you can expect to vape alot as the NIC intake is different. I have the 18mg juice and its perfect. Heck a bottle of juice is far less expensive then a weeks worth of smokes. Good luck and take care.

I'm going to echo everyone else and say since you've already quit smoking, it sounds like you want to quit vaping.

That's an easy task as well. Every couple weeks, lower your Nic intake. Go from 18-12. Use 12 for a couple weeks (you will increase your vaping for a few days, then taper back off) and then go down to 6-8. Rinse and repeat, and in a few months you'll be down to 0 Nic, and then you can quit vaping.

Good luck to you!

I figure you mean to quit vaping. If so, then, sorry that won't work for me. When I smoked I changed to a brand I didn't like trying to cut down. It boomeranged and I wound up smoking twice as much trying to get the satisfaction I missed in my old brand. I guess what might work is buying a juice your really hate.. like chemical tasting... but that might drive you back to smoking. Just cut your nic down to zero, don't lung inhale and enjoy. :vapor: Oh, and find a vendor that sells large quantities for less money or learn to DIY.

I guess I am now addicted to something else other than analogs..

Vaping is definitely better for you than smoking the analogs. And you can reduce your nicotine (addiction?) as you vape. If you desire, you can go down to 0 nic for awhile and later walk away from vaping.

Most of us here love to vape with no plans to ever quit. :)

Thanks everyone for comments. By smoking I meant vaping (actually inhaling something). I made my mom a promise after we lost my grandfather because of smoking. She still thinks it is same with smoking just replaced DDT, tar and other chemicals with something else. I really want to quit vaping like I did with smoking 1 month ago.

Now I am really happy with all the fresh air I get and free of the bad smell. Even trying to make my wife quit but she still doesn't believe it is more healthier option then smoking.

Anyway, what I meant was to quit everything and stop vaping too. But, I know it's not going to happen :)

I was on the same track about a few months ago.
Lowered Nic to 6mg. then was cutting that.

After researching, I felt the KNOWN effects of what I'm putting into my body now is probably on par with my morning cup (or two) of coffee.. Nicotine (on its own) isn't the problem. Sure, its not the only thing that makes cigarettes addictive.

The long term effects are still unknown, which does cause me some worry, so I hope to taper back and vape more occasionally (when I'm out drinking or whatever.. to keep off cigs). But i have about 300+mls of various liquid, so it will probably be a few months before I start that process :) - found some flavors I LOVE though, so my bulk purchasing of various liquids is defiantly over.

I'm at 6mg nic now, and probably wont go any lower. I've got some 12 for when I'm drinking.

I started vaping about 8 months ago after moving in with my inlaws. I quit successfully about a year before with Blu (easy to quit blu.. I didnt find it satisfying). My inlaws smoked and living with smokers REALLY makes you want a cigarette in my experience. Thats when I picked up vaping... much more satisfying.. moved out from inlaws about 6 months ago (it was temporary while we sold a house and found a new one).
