Thanks for that. Looking at the site that the article points to, I quickly realized that it is heavily sponsored by "popular" e-cig companies. While not a bad thing in and of itself, It can lead to biases which can be ultimately misleading to the new vaper. Every page I navigated to poped up an annoying V2 ad. It is a very new site and the information is elementary and limited. It is evidence that public interest is growing. More of these sites should point to these forums. Once that happens I'll be impressed.

Once ECF pays for the advertising, they will. :)

Good or bad way I see it:

I have tried everything I could to quit I just cant stop myself, so I am going to smoke.

The fact is I know e_liquid isn't good for me, it contains nicotine which is bad for the heart.

Most things are bad for you but it being good or bad isn't really the point blank, its how bad for you is it?

While e-liquid may not be healthy I urge anyone to actually try and convince me that e-smokeing is not 100x less bad for you then a cigaret containing thousands of chemicals. So if some people are going to smoke a less bad for you option exists.

Most people in my experience with e-cigs argue good or bad, reality is nicotine is bad for you, but not as bad as a cigaret so what would you rather someone smoke if they are going to anyway?

Of course, advocates are not saying that it is a healthier alternative to tobacco.

Besides, vapers are not trying out all the delicious and sinful eliquid flavors for health reasons. They simply prefer eliquid over tobacco for the simple reason that it is more fun to use. The variety and dynamic nature of eliquid makes it the more favorable option over tobacco cigarette smoking.

Horsepucky

While I don't disagree that it might be more fun, the vast majority of people that I know do it specifically for the health benefits.

Did anyone go to the eliquid.net website the article refered too? Mann is that one obnoxious site. I was trying to find out if they listed their ingredients anywhere on the site. I could not read more than a line or two without a pop up e-cig ad.. I was on the home page for less than a minute had had to close down at least 10 pop ups...
