I purchased these two kits: http://www.priceangels.com/USB-Rech...10-Refill-2-Cigarette-Car-Charger-s91888.html

and: http://www.priceangels.com/Health-C...-Cigarette-with-10-Refill-White--s827967.html

I bought them before I found this forum, otherwise I would probably have made a different choice. From the pictures of the items and the photos of the carts, they looked like they would be compatible, at least with each other, and I was hoping to be able to identify them once I got them by a brand name or a model number. Unfortunately, the closest I was able to come from searching both this forum and google is that this site: E-HealthCigarettes.com - Online Store seems to be the US dealer for Kit 2 above. That still doesn't help me figure out compatibility with replacement parts like extra cartridges and replacement attys and batteries. Could anyone help me identify these? They are NOT compatible with each other.

This site was extremely useful to my friend who bought a "Cig2o" and found that it was a KR808D-1 and was able to order all kinds of replacement stuff. I am hoping you will help me, too.
Thanks!

The princeangels one looks like a m40x model. That means it will be called an m401, m402 or m403. You can get replacement m40 cartridges from a few suppliers but I'm not familiar with US vendors, sorry.

I'm not too sure about the e-health ones but I assume they're m40x as well as most "health" rebranded ones were either m40 or some unique threading nothing else would work with.

Not to be patronising in any way but I think if you can, you should try to return them as they're like the windows 95 of ecigs compared to what we have today.

You can also get a kr808d-1 setup for less from smokelessimage bloogplanet and halocigs, that includes any cartomisers you want to buy, you'd get replacements cheaper from any of those three than the ones you linked from.

Hope that helps and I didn't get too much wrong.

Hiya Emscape;
I agree with leftfeild...... and I am clueless as to the make/model/serial number

one of the problems with those models is that the thread size is not compatible with the various cartomizers available....they are like proprietary so you have to buy the cartridges from an exclusive vendor, typically way overpriced.

Hope this give you a wee bit more information to make decisions.

I'd send them both back for refund if i was you... start over with a 510 model which you can buy replacement parts for absolutly everywhere and it will work out cheaper.

I have to agree. Spending a few more days on analogs will be worth it in the end to get a decent kit. Send them back and get some kind of 510 model like the ego.

Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet

sorry, but I have to agree with the others. You can get a better e-cig. IMO, it's worth it to stick with the models that are more widely supported by the ECF approved vendors - that way you will know that you can always get the replacement bits (or cartomizers etc) that you need.

If you are stuck with what you have, you can find replacement bits shipped from China (I think). Just look for the "e-health" and its sound-a-likes.

Just adding my .02 - If you don't get your $$ back don't feel too bad. Many of us made an expensive POC first purchase - mine was rediculously expensive and inefficient. Keep vaping, order some Rivas or KR808s or whatever you feel will work for you and keep them as a backup. Backups are our friend. :)

Very very small price to pay for finding what's going to save your life. Welcome and Good Luck!

yea,,those look like m401 models,,i had that set before and the batteries just don't last,,first batt died first day,,took it back,,next one lasted a week,,that replacement lasted almost a month.

don't even open the package when it returns,,,just send it back for refund

many of us here have already learned this lesson the hard way,,we are just trying to save you the grief we know all too well

First one is likely e-Health cheap supermini with annoying tiny recessed juice cup inside the plastic mouthpiece? About the diameter of a cigarette? Similar to M401 though the one you got may use the cheaper foil ended cartridges w/ pointed atomizer bridge /\ instead of the better wide rounded Smores atomizer and silicone plugged cartridges. I started on manual M401 (same style but manual and longer w/ Smoore atomizer and silicone-plugged cartridges) - and it kept me happy for 3 weeks, after which I bought two better models which I have vaped for a year.

Cannot tell what the other is since no threads shown, no diameter or mah listed. But if the battery has recessed female threads and the cartomizer (combined 1 piece cartridge and atomizer, screw onto battery) - if the cartomizer has male protruding threads, and it is between 9 and 10mm diameter, then it is most likely RN4081 (ditto if it actually has a separate atomizer that pushes inside the cartridge). Less likely L88b (like Blu, Smoke51 Trio - can use 510 cartos but their charger will kill a 510). Highly unlikely it is 510. If 9-10mm diameter with male threads on battery and female on cartomizer then possibly KR808D-1 (popular) or KR808D-2 (Greensmoke) If it is under 9mm w/ male battery and female cartomizer it could be E8 Chinese model. If it is none of those then I have no idea.

Thanks, everyone, for your help. I really appreciate it. I don't think I'll be able to return them as they came from China, but I will go on vaping! I think I'd prefer a pen-style or some other pv that doesn't look so much like a cigarette. I'm really excited about flavors and juices, too. I think I will give one set as a gift (hopefully entice some others away from analogs) and keep the other set as a backup, as I've read here that these carts might be refillable. Again, thanks!
