I found a little trick to keep from having to take a puff of the Cartomizer when it gets so low that the material (cotton?) dry burns. Essentially, becoming a horrible tasting vape Cigarette! I never want smoke in my mouth or lungs again!!!

In short, when one is getting to that place (depending on your cartomizer volume) where you think it might be running dry, and you either need to toss it or refill the Cartomizer. Simply, put the device up to your mouth like you are going to take a puff, but don't, leave your mouth open just a bit while pushing on the button and holding it down. With the end that you would puff from just at the opening or even a quarter inch inside your mouth, you will hear a snap, crackle and pop. That's the Cartomizer doing it's job - vaporizing the ejuice. If you only hear a crackling, with no snapping or popping, that's the atomizer beginning to burn the dry material in the Cartomizer.

When in a rather loud place (a car with road noise) you won't be able to hear the snap, cackle or pop. So, I just put the end of the Cartomizer up near my ear and do the same thing. Since I just ordered my first e-liquid refills, I will use this method easily. Whenever I begin to hear a difference in the Cartomizer action, I will put that one away for refill.

Next time you "smoke" your Cartomizer, try it. You'll clearly hear the difference. : )

VAPE it, don't SM:ohmy:KE it!

Thanks. I just did this with a KR808 carto that I found "iffy" and it works. I work in a noisy environment and had to go to a "quiet" place. I stuck the device up to my ear and hit the button. The "sizzle" is like a constant drone and the "snaps/pops" are like pulsations on and off over that drone.

It reassured me my carto was fine and I can keep filling/vaping.

Thanks again,

Norman
