Well I live in a place with traffic, so nothing is happening at freeway speed. But it would be even simpler on a freeway since no shifting would be required.

Sorry Dave, I consider that to be unsafe. IMO anything you do while driving that takes both hands off the wheel plus eyes off the road is not safe enough. I use a tank while driving.

The scary part is even with both hands off the wheel and not looking at the road you still probably drive better than 80% of the people out there. So dripping and driving is still safer than DWS(driving while stupid).

I don't have to have both hands off the wheel. It was just easier for me in that circumstance. I am shifting with the same hand that is holding my mod and steering with the same hand that is holding my juice. But I could just as easily steer with the hand that is holding the mod and use my shifting hand to drip. I was doing my best to get the dripper squirt in the shot.

There are lots of things that are far more unsafe to do while driving. And they are not regulated by our government.
