So I have been using the FLüXomize 510 Clearomizers for about 2 months now. At first I was tossing them in the trash after a week of use. That's about when they would begin to have weak draws and were getting way gunky. After doing that for a few weeks I just decided to save my old ones in a ziplock.

A few days ago I cracked open the ziplock which had had 5 used FLüXies. I tossed them in a pot full of water and put them on the stove at about medium heat for a little over a hour. After that I let them dry for about 2 days. I just picked one of them up, dry burned it until the coil was bright orange, and filled it with my favorite juice. Wow!! Almost like new!!

How long did they remain usable?

You can keep cleaning them and using them, but like any coil, it won't last forever. The coil will degrade, the resistance will rise, and it will keep declining in performance until you throw it away. Also, the wicks have a bad habit of wearing out right where they go into the atomizer cup. If you can get 3 use cycles out of them, you really can't ask for much more from a disposable unit.

I'm too lazy for all that stuff...I just toss mine and throw another one on. To me they never vape right after being cleaned.

While I do find performance diminished a little bit, a good thorough cleaning followed by a dry burn to get any buildup removed works very well for me. It's a little bit of work, sure, a couple minutes per Fluxo, but it definitely extends their life. I'm thinking of getting some Kanthal wire and SS 400 mesh and making a SS CE2 out of one, just to try it out. (Yeah, it's a long way to go to mod a $2 carto, but it would probably work really well in a tank.)

Why boil? Just take off the tube and clean under warm to hot tap water. I do that with my Fluxomizer Delxues. It's quick and easy and cleans up very well.

I like to boil mainly for sanitization. After sitting in the ziplock back for over a month, I wanna make sure I am not inhaling any crap other than my tasty e-liquid. I toss my mouthpieces in the water as well.
