BLU has an excellent marketing campaign, but their product is way overpriced, and very primitive. Here are my issues with BLU:
1) Several vendors offer the same product for less than 1/2 the price
2) The model ecig they sell (all are built in China) is very primitive
3) Once you commit to the product, their cartridges are very expensive
4) They claim that one cartridge is the equivalent of one pack of cigarettes, while I would compare one BLU light cartridge to 1.5 real light cigarettes.

Blu is a simple kit. It's a good start for first time users. It's available to the non-internet using public. Soon enough people get tired of short life batteries, and make the step up to something better.

Yep, all e-cigs are made in China. They invented them. Gunpowder and e-cigs. Not such a bad folk, eh?
Unless you are getting a hand-made mod here.

As for one carto = 1 pack. It really does depend on how the person vapes. Usually though, I believe this is related to the amount of nicotine in the cart. But, since it's absorbed completely differently than smoking, it's an irrelevant number.

Blu got me started in the vapor world. That is about the only good thing I can say for it.

Exactly the same here. thats what started me with this about a year ago but I only used it for 3 weeks until I foung out about the EGO. Now i have like 10 mods and It just keeps growing... The only reason I like Blu Cigs is because of were I am now with vaping!!!!

It doesn't matter how a person vapes, 1 cart will never be 1 pack. Only way you could come close is by comparing amount of nicotine in both, completely ignoring the fact that it is absorbed differently and therefore is not equal.

Buying a crappy mini at first is like a vaping rite of passage. We've all gone through it!

I'm sure it's common, but not everyone.

I never bought a mini. I'd had some friends who tried them - but no friends who continued to use them for long. I'd had a hit or two from them, each time thinking "This thing sucks. Nothing like a cig, I can't see how it would help".

A friend of a friend tried one, and recommended it highly to me. His was a mini, and the company he bought it from had some kind of referral program. I didn't buy one of those, but it did get me to doing some research, which is how I found ECF. Based on reading ECF, I bought an ego.

And I'm very happy about it. I didn't really expect it to work at the time, and it's doing a great job.

I totally agree with everything you say. BUT, I'm thankful for the day I bought my BLU starter kit. Course, that was a year ago May. I didn't know nothing about nothing then, but my BLU. . .showed me that I could switch off tobacco cigs to something else. Don't know that I know all that much more now. But, I haven't smoked a tobacco cig for more than 6 months. Don't even remember now what that crumby little kit cost me. . .but, as far as I'm concerned. . .it's the best money I ever spent. JMHO

Cheers,

1) Several vendors offer the same product for less than 1/2 the price
Which vendors? The closest comparison right now is Volcano which is only 5 dollers less. Eko is another brand, nice saveings but the kit is not complete.
But, if this is true, (same product 1/2 price), this sort of invalidates point 3

2) The model ecig they sell (all are built in China) is very primitive
All slims are made in china

3) Once you commit to the product, their cartridges are very expensive

$10. for 5 prefilled (who would bay just 1- 5 pack?) it is in the industry norm for priceing. Many sellers sell a 5 pack of blank cartos for about the same.
One could just use 510 or 306 standard cartos on the Blu, your not limited to "only blu"

4) They claim that one cartridge is the equivalent of one pack of cigarettes, while I would compare one BLU light cartridge to 1.5 real light cigarettes
Point here is very valid, but I can say I have usually had better luck with Blu cartos.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting the Blu to anyone. But there are some people that like it.
