I was always looking for where I laid my E-cig and I have lost a couple of them. I ordered the rubber lariat to hang around my neck. It worked great, EXCEPT, it is ugly and by hanging the E-cig upside down, I find with some cartomizers the fluid flows down to the mouth piece. Oh yuck! I'm a Mosaic artist and occasionally use clay to make custom tiles or objects for my art work. So playing around with some clay, I made myself a Doodad. It is a holder on a cord I designed that holds my E-cig upright and that is attractive and
functional. It also is a good conversation piece when someone see's it and wonders what it is. From there I made some non-ash trays to hold my cartomizers upright when refilling and to lay my ecig in like an ash tray, like I used to do with my cigarettes.
Why the name? Several people had asked me when they saw my DooDad "What is it". I would tell them it my Doodad or Gisma for lack of a real name. So I looked up DooDad in the dictionary.
Doodad: "An unnamed or nameless gadget or trinket, an ornamental attachment or decoration; a decorative embellishment".
Right now everything on my site is for the 808-D1, but I'm busy at work making Doodads and trays for the fat battery's like the IGO and ECHO, which I hope to add to my site next week.
