Are you using the bubble glass or straight? The straight has JC and it should be used IMO when filling.
Good thing is you aren't complaining about dry hits.
I cut it the cotton straight and then refluff the ends down so they just touch the edge of the metal under the deck. There are several videos on it.

I don't think it is the best deck for a coil. I tried a regular coil in my seigfried and learned quickly it would leak freely. It is my favorite mesh Atty for it really is a mesh atty.

If you aren't getting along with mesh on the Doom X I would try the clapton mesh. I really recommend it.

Thanks for the answer mate! I have just putted more cotton than normal and it's getting better (also I'm trying with the 2ml tank). I think that for this deck a 2.5mm coil is very small because it needs a lot of cotton to not flood. If tomorrow it continues spitting I'll send back to the store...

EDIT: I'm using the bacon bits cotton and putting more cotton on the coil is impossible, the cotton is having a lot of pressure haha

Is it 6 mm cotton bacon or 3 mm cotton bacon strips (I've never purchased cotton bacon, so I'm not even sure if this is a thing). If it's 3 mm, you're going to want to run 2 strips under the mesh coil - one on top of the other.

I could fit 2 strip on a 2.5mm coil. It's the max and I'm running that rn with the Doom

Oh geez, that's definitely your issue then, lol. You're still experiencing flooding with the 2.5mm coil as well?

The mesh will want 6mm of wick running through it. If you can fit 2 through a 2.5 ID coil, you'd definitely want to run 4, or maybe even 5 under the mesh coil.

Hmmm, makes sense. So the solution would be installing a bigger coils? I don't know if I can find a 4mm coil or something bigger. Fiting 2 strips on the 2.5mm coil I feel some spitting but less than using only 1 strip

In a way, yes. The issue is having enough wick to plug the juice ports completely. Having a larger coil would allow you to have more wick available at the juice ports. Are you fanning out the wick ends with tweezers? It helps to get the clumps that are stuck together apart which will aid in better juice flow, and will also cover more area, which is what you currently want.

A 3mm coil or 3.5 should work just fine, but only if it allows you to add another strand of cotton in there, otherwise you're not any better off (probably worse actually) than just using the 2.5 ID coil. Also, I'm not sure how particular you are about your cotton, but I'd suggest something like this - it's a great bang for your buck deal and several people can attest on its quality.

This comes in super long strands of 6mm, so it works well in both mesh coils, and 3mm (and various other) coils by splitting the strand in half the long way.

I'm currently using this in my Doom X with the mesh, and I absolutely love it. It's a great RTA, just needs the right wicking is all.

I dont have this rta but just by checking youtube video I totally agree with you guys....this doesn't seem great for building with coils....and yeah no way u can have enough cotton with 2.5mm coil I think not even 3mm would be enough but that's not the end of the world....

Also with the bubble glass u lose the juice control and the way it's designed I think this rta really needs the juice control cause there is no place to dump the cotton and adjust the tightness of it...
Anyways the other straight glasses provide also a lot of juice capacity so it's fine...
Assuming you got all the orings on and I mean the atty is not missing anything I think that it can work good tho it's just tricky it doesn't look like bad design...

I like the looks of it...looks nice :D
The idea of clapton mesh is good in case u don't like mesh vaping but I am sure u can make it work even with coils just need a wire spool to be able to wrap your own coils and try different internal diameters
