I have diligently stayed away from looking at the doors. I decorate with stickers on mine, so nope, not gonna look!

Yes!!! That's what I MUST do! AHHHH, will.not.look. I got my one absolutely gorgeous blue metallic spare. I'm set forever...

My rta LP is rocking a bright yellow door today and looks pretty snazzy....maybe we should start a Door of the day thread so we can show of the pretty combos :D

My favorite finish is the Anodized Grands, black wrinkle and rta, not so much with the VV's as they slide from my hand, but the Grands re the perfect fit for me.

I would like a door of the day thread, even a 'pimp my door' thread! I got a gold (not anondized) and a plain one Tuesday. This is the gold one, pimped with alcohol inks. What blem? lol

Easy peasy! I already have a bunch of the inks but AC Moore has them, not sure about Michael's. Scroll to about the middle of this page to see the color combos. Embellishments for card making - Memento, Versafine, Stazon Ink Pad, Stencils, Masks, Corked Vials Miniature Glass Bottles, Buttons, Paper Flowers, Charms, Ribbon, Die Cuts

They generally come in packs of 3. I haven't seen them in singles, the metallics and a B&W come in a 2-pack. You'll need the Blending solution and the felt stamp thingie. I used a rubber stamp and StazOn ink for that one. Totally optional, I did one without a stamp.

Here's a video too. Alcohol Ink Techniques & Tips - Joggles.com That explains it all and what the blending solution does better than I could. I used a self-healing cutting mat and it cleans up pretty good. I think those cheap plastic cutting boards from the dollar store would be fine too.

You really can't mess it up. If you don't like it, wipe it off with the blending solution and do it again. :)
