I feel like a total newbie again. It's been a long time since I've been here.

I want to order some of these:

510 Ecigarette Style - 3.5ml Dual Coil Tank

Can you please tell me how many times this can be refilled before having to throw it out?

Is it like a regular cartomizer inside with the polyfill stuff in it?

Is the flavor comparable to dripping in the tanks? I love dripping. :p

This looks like vaping heaven to me.

I don't see many names I recognize anymore, but you knew I'd be back. I had ordered so much stuff in that first year it's taken this long to wear it out and vape it out. Also, gotta have more of my Caramel Mocha Frappucino!

2 years and 5 months vaping!

Oh, check out my avatar. This is Little Baby, the newest addition to my Persian cat family. She loves her raw food and I can't keep her out of it when I'm making it. She's still a kitten, less than a year old. Still rescuing cats at a fevered pace, I usually have at least 3 or 4 Persian fosters here all the time, sometimes more, it's a shame how many are losing their homes due to this wretched economy, but we save as many as we can.

Hi Pugzley, I have the 808 version of the 3.5 tank, and I've been told by either Snowdragon or Morandir that you can get about 60 mls of juice (2 bottles) use before they need to be replaced. There is also a thread either here or on V4Ls forum that talks about cleaning them, alto as cheap as they are better to replace, IMO. Also check out the KR808 team youtube channel for videos on filling the tank, if you aren't familiar with the process. The tank is awesome, I think you'll enjoy it, altho the 1.5 Ohm is a battery charge killer! Gotta have lots on hand before the tank is empty. Hope this helps, welcome back.

Altho I'm a dog person - have 4 rescues of my own - I love Persians. My next door neighbor had the most beautiful blue person named Calli. Lil Baby looks precious.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments about kitties and all the great info about the tank. Yummy! Looks like this will be the end of my search for perfection in vaping. I will be using my tank on a passthrough, so that solves the issue about short battery time with them. You guys are always great about helping others solve their problems, that's why I love V4L and the people on this forum.

Plantlvr and keyzygirl, I'm glad you are still here. I have some catching up to do!

Personally, I get about 5-7 days out of a carto before I trash it. I've tried cleaning them but haven't had much luck in that department. I find it easier to simply replace the carto every week or so.

As far as the tanks themselves, I've got four of them and they're all still going strong. Some of them are several months old and have been through multiple bottles each. If the tank is going to sit unused for more than a couple days, I would definitely suggest you empty it and give it a thorough cleaning.

You may get more or less life out of each depending on the juice you're using. My go-to vape is Outlaw Apple if that helps at all. YMMV.

Well, phooey, I don't see replacement cartridges for the 510 style, which is what I am using right now.

I think 510 replacement cartos are in short supply everywhere right now. The few places I checked are out of stock at the moment.

You could always buy 808 replacements and use a 510>808D adapter. If it bothers you, some adapters have such a low profile that you can't even notice one is there (called a short adapter by some). This is what I do when using my 510 mod because I prefer the 808 replacement cartos (which has two holes in it compared to the traditional single hole in others).

And if I'm not mistaken, I think these tanks can be used interchangeably with either type of replacement carto... someone please correct me if I'm wrong here. I was able to use a replacement 808 carto from V4L in an older, but near-identical, 510 tank I had laying around. A V4L staffer could probably confirm whether that would work or not. The basic idea is that you could use 808 replacement cartos until 510's are available.

Plus the 808 tanks come in different colors haha

I have the 808 1.5 ohm version and I've been vaping the shiznite out of two of them for weeks now and have no need for a replacement. I bet I've gone through close to 30+ ml's in each and they're still going strong. Finally just had to run a paperclip through to clean them a bit. I see that you'll be using it on a PT. There have been some issues with that not working and definitely don't use it on the PC! Consult Snow and and Morandir for more details...

I would personally advise against using the 1.5 ohm version on a PT. If you even got it to work, it would likely scorch your juice beyond enjoyment. 2.0 ohm is pushing the limit and would get pretty hot as well. Anything 2.5+ should be good to go.

EDIT: 3.0 ohm on a PT is comparable to a WOW carto on a freshly charged V4L battery... I think.

Tennovan sir at 5 volts here are the wattages of the 2.0 ohm and 3.0 ohm cartos in their propper ranges.

    2.0 ohms-
    1.8- 13.8
    1.9- 13.1
    2.0- 12.5
    2.1- 11.9
    2.2- 11.3

    3.0 ohms-
    2.8- 8.9
    2.9- 8.6
    3.0- 8.3
    3.1- 8.0
    3.2- 7.8

    Hope this helps... :)

Ok, I guess I feel like a total noob - but I am going to just ask anyway. Why do I need to know all this information? No really, I am not being a smart as*, I really don't understand. If all I want to do is use my V4L batteries with my V4L carts - or the one tank I've bought - OR those same carts (and an occasional atomizer) on my Provari is there a way that all this ohm stuff is relevant to me? Or can I just gape around happily without worrying about blowing my face off?

On the other hand, if I can use this info to enhance my vamping experience I would love to understand how.

Ms. KimberlyM all depends on your vaping sweet spot and limit of some juices. In terms of your provari, let's you know what your amp cutoff would be. On a v1 2.5a amps is your cutoff, so on a 1.8ohm carto you can only hit 4.5v before getting an e2. On your provari little fear of blowing your face off, it's designed to have multiple levels of fail safes to prevent thermal runaway...
