Hi vapers,

I'm an Irishvaper and couple of friends and myself are thinking in buying a tank system e-cig.

I read in someplace that the joye ego-tank has leaking problems, is this true? I was thinking in buying them from heaven gifts because they have a bulk discount and I think that they are genuine.

Anyone knows another place to buy 5 or 10 starter kits with a discounted price? and we also want to buy around 100 ml joye eliquid at discounted price, I was looking around and seems that this is mission imposible ;)

Anyone is using the bauway i-tank? any good?

Any suggestions?

Vape well!!!

I have a type-A Ego-T. I've bought 15 tanks and never had an issue with a single one leaking. The only time I have ever had problems is if the end caps get jammed on the piercing needle and come off when I remove the tank. This has only happened with the tanks I got from a different vendor (Dragonfly, I think), it seems like that ones they sold were more cheaply made than the originals I got from myvaporstore.com. I think the trick is to fill the tanks via the hole in the end with a syringe instead of taking off the end cap to fill. I love it, I have no issues with burning taste (unless it's empty or not wicking properly) and decreased flavor (I think it tastes way better than my 510).

the ego-t is a love it or hate it, I was not impressed but my friend loves the one I got for him. I have to admit, his works much better than mine did, maybe I had a dud, but still not for me.

As for leaking, DO NOT TWIST THE TANK AFTER IT IS IN. Once it's in, twisting it(the tank) will cause it to leak (throw out tank, use another, atty should still be fine). Also constantly taking the tank off will damage it and cause it to leak, only take it off when you need to refill.

I'm not so sure about using joye liquids... so many better ones out there.

Never had an issue with a tank leaking from twisting it. As long as you don't pull up and push down while twisting you should not have a problem! Like the tanks BUT LOVE the CE2 clearos/Fluxos XL. Great flavor(more than the tank), great vapor production, robust as all hell(except for the tube, which you can mod with a 3ml syringe easily enough) and a warm hit. For the price you can't beat them IMHO!

I'm on my first tank. Was JUST about to twist it to make the button line up right on top where I wanted it. Thanks for the tip!

That's exactly what my friend had done, and about 10 minutes later the entire tank had dumped into his shirt pocket. Store (Janty) I got mine from said don't twist it, it will cause it to leak, seen it happen once. If you REALLY have to have it line up, take the tank off, reposition, put back.

LOL@Cage024 & the stern looks...ha!

I have had my eGoT for almost 2 months and love, love, love it. No leaks from either of the 2 tank attys or the 6 tank cartridges that I keep filled with different flavors and switch back and forth during the day. I pop the ends of the cartridges off to refill and take care to push it back on carefully. When I put the tank onto the atty, I always give it a good twist as I'm pushing it down, lining the mouthpiece up with the button the way that suits me.

I got the Joye 510 tank attys and tank cartridges a couple weeks ago & think that they are great too. (use them with both my 510 & eGo batteries) I think that taking the ends off to fill these will more quickly break down a secure closure, so I'm going to get a syringe for refilling these (and will probably go ahead and use it for the eGo tanks as well)

myfreedomsmokes sells eliquid up to 125ml i think. american e liquid store sells concentrated stuff(up to 60ml depending on % of flavoring you use, you can make a lot way mroe than 100ml) you just add nic and vg/pg. Only problem is I don't know if they ship to you.
Thanks Aimeguy I will ask them, but I agree that I could have problem with deliveries outside the States.

Cheaper tanks tend to leak. Like I said, my first batch came from MVS and I had no issues with them - twisting and all. The second batch came from Dragonfly and, so far, the endcaps have popped off of two of them, getting stuck on the piercing needle. Bought another batch from MVS - no issues. I twist my tanks all the time. The other important point to stress is to NOT remove the endcap to fill the tanks, rather puncture them first, then refill via the puncture hole with a syringe.

I also remove the two plastic pieces from the mouth piece. Not sure why they are there but it vapes a hell of a lot better without them. Just use a paper clip and pry/pop them out.

As for e-liquid... I've heard people recommend not using a high ratio of VG. All my liquids are 50/50 PG/VG and I have no issues (I clean my attys every few days, though). Darker and/or thicker liquids will decrease the performance. They're usable, but you'll need to clean the attys more often. I also like to get double flavoring... So far, the best liquids I've used in the T have come from Want2Vape, KickBass Vapors and Rockstar.

I started off with an Ego T style. I love it. I love how versatile it is. You can use your tank if you are driving. LRatty if you want to drip and you can even use LR306 attys on these too. I gave two starter kits to my aunts and they both love theirs as well. I'd say you are making a wise choice if you go with the Ego T style, in my opinion.
